I’m always weary of face oils as I tend to struggle with oily skin, and some oils I’ve used in the past have aggravated it. I’m a big fan of antioxidant-rich skin care products though, and was very excited to try this one, as it promises rejuvenated cell activity and brighter skin.
Firstly, I was very impressed by the beautiful packaging of this product. I love the glass bottle and pretty labelling, and I have always loved using a dropper. Secondly, the scent of the oil is unbelievable – as soon as the lid is lifted the smell fills the room and after I applied it to my skin, I smelt it all around me for quite a while.
Although it absorbs well, it is a little bit too oily for me to wear during the day (bearing in mind that my skin is already oily to begin with), so I have started applying it at night, after my serum. The scent lulls me to sleep, and when I wake up in the morning, my skin feels velvety soft and hydrated. I can tell that the product gets absorbed beautifully, as there is no oiliness on my face when I wake up.
I am in my twenties so I have not seen many signs of ageing yet, but I believe that with regular use the antioxidants will pump my skin with all the natural goodness they offer. Definitely looking forward to trying more products from this brand!
