Skin Creamery’s Wildflower Water-Cream is a hydrating, multipurpose beauty elixir, crafted using indigenous botanicals to refine and smooth the skin’s surface, leaving a refreshed, youthful glow.
Spilanthes Acmella is a powerful medicinal plant botanical that is celebrated for its transformative therapeutic qualities. Sustainably grown, farmed and harvested here in South Africa; we use the precious oil rendered by this beautiful golden red flower for its incredible restorative and regenerating properties.
Spilanthes Acmella has the innate ability to act directly on protein-producing Fibroblasts (collagen and elastin fibres). When applied directly to the skin, it stimulates the biochemical function of the Fibroblasts which in turn immediately tighten and firm skin, while smoothing over and relaxing facial tension.
As we age, the cell turnover/regeneration cycle slows down and collagen and elastin production decrease, therefore causing a breakdown in the structure of our skin, resulting in the accentuation of fine lines and wrinkles.
With the guided trusted help from Mother Nature, however, we are essentially able to turn back the clock and provide nourishing restorative care with powerful results.
What we say:
I absolutely adore the texture of this moisturiser. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I saw the name “water-cream” but now that I’ve been using it for a while it makes complete sense. If you could turn water into a cream, it would feel like this. It is light and almost gel-like, but feels smooth upon application and does not leave a sticky residue synonymous with gel-like consistencies. It has a fresh scent and a gorgeous pale blue colour. I use it in the morning as I love a light texture for daytime and richer texture at night. Despite the light water-cream formulation, my skin feels soft and hydrated all day long, even in the heart of winter. I’ve also noticed that my complexion looks more radiant since using this. It’s an easy-to-use and effective product, and one I would certainly repurchase.
