  1. As much as I loved the Stilla eyeshadow pallet, I love their Waterproof smudge stick eyeliner just as much. Perfect for that dreamy smokey eye look or if you just want to do a simple wing eyeliner look. I got the brown with the pallet and I have used it ever since. It goes on smoothly and you don’t have to push to hard as well. You can smudge it in with your favourite eyeshadow colour or let it set. Stila’s products are amazing overall.

  2. I have never been so impressed with an eyeliner before. I purchased Stingray from Takealot last week and boy does this last!It doesn’t smudge below the eyes it stays in place even during gym!

  3. I have been very unfortunate with most eyeliners: no matter what I do I always land up with raccoon eyes within a few hours.
I love the smudged look as opposed to a hard line (which you would usually get with liquid liners), so I am always on the hunt for a product that can give me a softer look while staying put for longer.
The Stila Smudge Stick works better than most. It smudges beautifully but limits the raccoon eyes. After 3 hours of wear, the product only drifted underneath my eyes (a little bit) and in the corners of my eyes – this is a huge improvement to my usual experience which is product everywhere within an hour.
The product is super-soft upon application and I have to be very careful when using it. The first time I used it – I lined my upper lids and found, when I opened my eyes, that the product had spread under my eye too! Luckily, the smudge formula came to the rescue – and I the result was a beautifully smudged eye.
The packaging is very playful, with stars decorating the pencil. However, the twist function does not work very well – it requires quite a number of twists for new product and one twist too many and you may have trouble as the pencil does not retract. The biggest downside to this product, however, is the price. Sadly, nothing about this product justified the R200+ price tag.

  4. I have these is both Stingray (purchased as a stand alone) as well as Tetra (which came with my In The Moment eyeshadow palette).

These Smudge sticks are the wind up version of the Stila Smudge pots. I find the formula to be very very soft, so therefore I have to be extra careful and apply with a light hand as to not use too much product and make it last a bit longer time wise.

Because the formula is so soft, I find that it glides on very easily and hassle free. The colors are highly pigmented so gives of a rich, intense and vibrant color. It truly is very long lasting and stays literally all day (more so than my usual liners – Avon glimmer stick and Revlon Colorstay Eyliner ) But for the price of R200 and the formula being so soft, I probably wont repurchase as a stand alone product, but definitely more worth it when purchasing an eyeshadow palette and line duo.
