I have been a fan of The Body Shop for a long time now. I love how their products are packaged and I love the convenience of being able to find products at Clicks. The products also come in many fun flavours and there are limited edition products which give the brand a collectors sort of feel.
At the moment I am usuing the blueberry body butter. I like how it feels and love how it smells. The cream is soft and spreadible however sometimes it does leave a bit of a residue which isn’t the best feeling. I have noticed however that depending on how dry my skin is the residue feels different. Ironically the dryer my skin, the more oily it feels. I am not sure why this happens but it doesn’t put me off the product.
I love how fresh the cream smells and I find the blueberry scent refreshing and tranquil. I also love the blue packaging it comes in – a bit different. Overall I think it is a good product and if it feels different on me depending on the condition on my skin, I think it will feel different on other peoples skin too.

The thing I love the most about the body butter is that almost 24 hours after application my skin still feels hydrated. I wouldn’t even dream of using any other body cream. They come in the greatest flavors that smell divine so there is a wide variety to choose from. It has a thick creamy texture that glides over the skin. I loved it so much I used it on my pregnant belly, had no stretch marks up until the end of my pregnancy! Forever a fan of their Body Butter!

I was disappointed with this body butter for many reasons. The texture was the most disappointing part. It takes a lot effort to rub into your skin as it is not fast absorbing and leaves a very oily residue. I really didn’t expect that seeing that most body butters from TBS absorb easily and instantly moisturise the skin without leaving much residue. It has a powdery scent that is not appealing but does fade away after some time. It also doesn’t moisturise the skin well considering its Vit E content. I absolutely regret purchasing this product.

Smells heavenly and deeply moisturising to give you soft intensively nourished and gorgeous smelling skin. It’s fairly pricey so stock up on the body shop sales

I use the Body Shop Vitamin E refreshing spray, face mask and the body butter. This is my favourite range because it lightens my scars. I use body butter in winter months because lotion just doesn’t provide enough moisturisation.
The butter leaves my skin nourished and silky for a very long time, up until my bath the next day. I would definitely recommend this product. I would prefer a pump over the traditional screw-on lid as you contaminate the remainder of the container when you take some to apply with your fingers.
My scars are lighter but it is a long process, you won’t see results overnight. This product is worth the money.

This is the best skin nourisher.

I received this as a gift, quite recently – although to be honest, I can do with less products in my bathroom.
While my skin felt nourished – as a whole – this product is too much effort to use. If you have a multi-product beauty routine, as I do, the last thing you want to do is spend those extra minutes rubbing a product into your body (in my case my legs are over a meter long – this is A LOT of rubbing). It is thick and creamy, and eventually I thought I would use it to indulge myself on the weekend when I have more time. However, it doesn’t nourish my skin any more than my daily body lotion and I found myself not using it at all, and eventually giving it to my mother – who loves it!
The design of the container also leads to a lot of frustration. You have to scoop the product out – and that feels unhygienic and icky – I was also afraid that with the necessary vigorous rubbing it may go flying, resulting in globs of butter all over my bedroom (this didn’t happen, but I am more comfortable with being able to close the product between applications). Also, your hands are inevitable greasy after using it making it very difficult to screw closed.
If you have lots of time – possibly retired like my mother – this is a great product to treat your skin.

I used the Vitamin E range on my face for a good couple of years, so I’m familiar with the range. This body butter is fantastic. I love that it goes on quite heavily and is rich, but after a few seconds of rubbing it in, it all sinks into your skin without any greasiness at all. I have dry skin that needs extra care in winter, so this coupled with a few sprays of The Body Shop’s Argan Oil Spray and my skin is hydrated and glowing.

I just love this body butter, it makes my skin feel so soft.

The Body Shop never disappoints! This version of their many offers, gave my skin a great treat. I battle with stretch marks and dark marks all over my body. The body butter has improved the texture of my skin. The areas where I had troubles with uneven skin, are smoothed out and corrected.
