Semi permanent colorants are completely out of vogue as their durability is limited to "up to 6 shampoos". The most popular type of NO LIFT color is a demi permanent color and lasts through several weeks worth of shampooing. I recommend L’Oreal Casting Creme Gloss, which has a good variety of shades, is conditioning and promotes shine. Both semi and demi permanent colorants are unable to lighten the hair at all. Should you want a lighter color, be sure to stay with permanent color, and I recommend L’Oreal Excellence Creme which has a wonderful variety of shades and will adress all of your color needs.
