Keeping eyeliner in its place without smudging or running or flaking can be tricky at times. The problem arises from our natural oils that are produced to prevent the skin from drying out. So the trick is to minimise this problem by prepping the eye area before applying your eyeliner. Apply an eyeshadow primer to your eyelids (they control oily lids and keep eyeshadows in place). If you do not have an eyeshadow primer, then use your eye base or a small amount of foundation and set it with translucent powder. Apply your eyeliner as per usual. After this step, (trick I use on set) use an eyeliner brush to apply a thin line of powder eyeshadow in the same shade as your eyeliner, directly over the eyeliner.
