As far as I know, this is supposed to be a smoothing and firming mask, and from what I can gather from the active ingredients, there shouldn’t be anything in the product that causes you to start peeling. Is there not perhaps a cleanser or toner that you are using in conjunction with this product that perhaps contains AHA’s or some resurfacing active ingredients? Just remember, especially if you are peeling, you are going to want to ensure you are using good sun protection every day.
