I was recently lucky enough to try the new shade in the Clarins Eye Quartett Mineral Palette range, ’13 Skin Tones’. I am so impressed with this eyeshadow. While the other shades in the range are obviously gorgeous, the new palette includes shades that I will wear often.
The Palette offers a range of 4 brown eyeshadows that are the not too cool & also not too warm. I find that some cool tones can make me look washed out, but these shades have just the right amount of warm tones in them to create the perfect brown smokey eye.
I am particularly impressed with the formula. Using my own make-up brushed (I’m not a fan of palette sponges!), the eyeshadow applied smoothly with almost no falling shadow.
I have particularly oily eyelids, so in order to get a full days wear from the shades, I do need to use an eyelid primer. If you’re in the market for a new neutral eyeshadow palette, this ones for you!
