Essence has always been my go to brand for nail polish, they offer a variety of colours and finishes and their price is always right (R25.00 for 8ml). This international brand aimed at young students who who are just dabbling into the make up world proves to hold its own amongst the major players in the beauty aisle especially in the nail polish department.
I got the colour 174 Purple Sugar which is their tribute Pantones 2014 colour of the year – radiant orchid. Two coats was all it took to get the job done. Minimal chipping after 5 days of wear. The colour is pretty and can be used as a base for a variety of nail art designs. Perfect for a mani or pedi in summer.
