This was my everyday makeup for about 3 years, I really did love it. The only reason that I moved away from it is because I started favouring the matte look more (I now use NYX “It’s all about Matt!”). This product lives up to the Colorstay name – it will not fade but is not too difficult to remove. I wouldn’t necessarily agree with the statement that it wouldn’t “rub off”. I have committed skincare suicide by sleeping with my make-up on and it did leave some marks on the pillowcase.
The packaging has room for improvement, the aesthetics of the bottle is all good and well, but there is no pump. It is a glass bottle, so you can’t squeeze it either. I had to pour on the back of my hand, heat the product up a bit and then apply to my face. The colour range is one of the more impressive ones I’ve seen; it accommodates for almost every skintone and I was able to find an exact match.
My favourite thing about this foundation is that it is super blendable. I really enjoyed this product and even as I write this review I am questioning why I ever left it. As soon as the NYX bottle is over, I’ll probably go back to this.
