These look great, but I’m wondering if BB/CC creams are necessary for teens.

I have used the Clinique Moisture Surge in the past and that was brilliant.

I think teens should embrace their young skin. You don’t have to wear BB and CC creams as a necessity, maybe just for going out or certain occasions. Sometimes our skin needs to breath and if you do use this, make sure you use a good wet wipe (simple) and a good makeup remover to unblock your pores so that they do not fill up with dirt and encourage acne. I notice nowadays many teens PLASTER their faces with makeup and they don’t remove it properly because they know they will just have to put it on the next day. Apply and remove appropriately, you will thank yourself when you are older.

For a teen, I would recommend the Garnier BB cream out of this selection.
Firstly for practicality because it’s light, hydrating and gives just enough of a sheen. And secondly for the price tag. I can’t justify a teenager spending R600 on a tinted moisturiser.
My mom would have never allowed that :)

So many great bb and cc creams. I have only used the ponds one. I want to try out essence and garnier.

The Garnier one is the best for the price I’d say! I wear mine regularly and it feels amazing on my skin.
