We all know the familiar scents like Chanel No.5, Dior Poison, Angel by Thierry Mugler and so on. But what do you spray when you’re after something completely different? We wanted something unique, so we decided to dig deep into the world of fragrance and sniff out some interesting scents that are not your typical perfumes. This is what we found:
Scent name: Aramis Perfume Calligraphy Saffron EDP, 100ml, R1250
Interesting notes: Inspired by the East, this oriental-spicy scent is a unisex fragrance with marigold and saffron and a heart of Turkish rose.
Scent name: The Body Shop Moringa Body Mist, 100ml, R120
Interesting notes: A simple, fresh scent with delicate notes of the moringa flower.
Scent name: Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Yuzu EDT, 50ml, R365
Interesting notes: Top notes of yuzu zest, sparkling lemon and green tea. We think this is an uplifting scent!
Scent name: Gucci Flora 1966, 100ml, R1990
Interesting notes: A sheer floral scent with notes of bergamot and bourbon pepper. This is truly a unique scent and one that will become a special one.
Scent name: Charlotte Rhys EDT, 50ml, R181.50
Interesting notes: No17 – An exquisitely cool, green classic, with top notes of lemon and bergamot and a luminous heart of water lily and sage.
Scent name: Jo Malone Tuberose Angelica, 100ml, R1550
Interesting notes: Tuberose and angelica (rounded off with amber wood). These aren’t notes you often hear of.

Flora by Gucci – it is just calling out to me…
I have been looking for a statement perfume, will try the Jo Malone Tuberose Angelica,
The Elizabeth Arden Green Tea scent sounds really interesting and fruity
That Charlotte Rhys sounds divine. I will have to do a tester one day :)
Jo Malone Tuberos Angelica sounds heavenly. Notes of wood are always amazing.
I love The Body Shop – they always have great scents.
My sister uses EA Green Tea… when I am at her house a use it. Quite pleasing to the nose, gentle scent that is not overbearing.
I adore the Moringa scent from TBS. The body mist smells perfume-y and floral but not like toilet freshener at all.
The Moringa scent from the Body Shoe is absolutely stunning
I’ve never seen some of these perfumes
