I recently used this product and I was quite disappointed with it. Although it is a terrific idea – a 2-in-1 eyeliner- it was a bit of a letdown. The pen did not last very long, and had completely dried up after using it a few times. I did however like that it had 2 different applicators, one to draw thick lines, and the other to draw more precise lines. I would not repurchase this.

This is the worst eyeliner I have ever used. First of all, it is not very pigmented so the black isn’t as intense as I would like my eyeliners to be. It dries out really quickly, I have used mine five times and I already struggled with the pen drying out. The thin sides point is also very flimsy and you end up with a thick line in anyway since the point keeps bending over. If all of that isn’t already enough reason not to buy this eyeliner, it also fades and you are left with patchy eyeliner in about three hours. Rather don’t wear eyeliner than wearing this one!

I was excited to buy this eyeliner because it has a thick and a thin pen. However, after using it 2 or 3 times, it stopped working properly. I was quite disappointed with this product.

I love essence products but this one is my new favourite ! It’s has both thick and thin applications which gives you the choice to have a subtle line or to go big and bold. It dries relatively quickly so there’s minimal smudging and lasts the whole day. I have never had to reapply when using this liner. I find it cheaper and more effective than other brands. The only downside to this product is that is it longer than a usual liner and I struggle to fit it in my cosmetics bag. This is the best value for money liner that I have bought so far.

This little darling beauty is one of my must-have items in my makeup collection. I can seriously not do any makeup application without it.
On the one end it has a super thin pointy applicator for absolute precision and on the other end it is square and flat for creating thicker lines emphasise drama.
The first time I bought it I did not expect the results I got for the price I paid. It is extremely long-lasting and sometimes a struggle to get it completely off and it glides on so easy and smoothly making it an absolute pleasure to use this product. I will be forever grateful for essence.

I am in two minds about this product. It is affordable and you get two different tips which is great for doing different looks. Usually the colour pay-off of any Essence product is awesome. After trying both sides I felt like I did not get the intense black that I wanted. The felt tip was firm but the ink would run out mid-stroke and I do not have the patience to keep going over the line three or four times. I find their gel liner to be way better and after a bit of practice I can do my eyeliner in 5 minutes.

Essence has a great range of eyeliner products and their liquid eyeliners are fantastic. The pens are easy to command and the colour comes on richly and dark. There’s no need to go over it again and again to get a nice black. And what’s better than having two pens?
