I don’t really like body scrubs as it sometimes takes longer to get the little granules off your skin than it took to lather them on. But then I used Justine’s Body Balance Body Scrub. I decided not to apply it with a cloth as I thought I’d be cheating my hands out of a treatment. The strong smell of coconut reminded me of summer, and the little walnut shell particles were just the right size to feel like a soft scratching of an itch instead of harsh sandpaper. It really feels like you’ve given yourself a gentle exfoliating massage – it’s brilliant! The best part for me, though, was when I had to wash the scrub off. It just magically disappeared. No scrubbing to get it off and no bath full of murky, floating stuff afterwards. I was amazed. It made me think of the science behind it all, but not for long though.

People have been saying excellent things about Justine. I’m just a little lazy when it comes to ordering via representatives. It’s far easier to just walk into a store, see something you like, and buy it. I wish these lovely products were available at Clicks or Dis-Chem!

I purchased this scrub and the accompanying body butter a while back. In short, I love both products. The scrub is gentle but effective, and because of the cream base, I am able to really massage it into my skin and I don’t feel like I am scrubbing my skin. Washing it off is easy enough. The cocoa smell was not irritating to my nose and I found that when followed up with the body butter, I was left with pleasant smelling skin for a most of the day. My only gripe with this product is that after using it, I don’t like the feeling of my skin, while my skin if soft, recently I found that it is not as soft at the first time and I have to rinse my skin thoroughly to avoid residue from the product being left behind. But all in all, a really good product from a reputable brand.

I actually love body scrubs. I received this as an early Christmas gift. It felt quite nice but did not compare to my regular Beautiful Earth Body Scrub. At the same price, I’ll be sticking to my regular scrub.
