Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter

ColorBurst Lip Butter has beautiful shiny colour combined with a buttery balm to give baby soft, healthy glowing lips. It’s a medium coverage colour with a high shine finish. The pampering gel-based formula instantly drenches lips with 156% more moisture. Ninety-four percent of women felt lips were softer, smoother, pampered, conditioned and instantly hydrated.

What we say:
‘After the first application I was sold. The thing about other lipsticks is that it dries up and leaves that unsightly peeling on the lips or that greasy line if it’s too shiny and sticky. This saves me the effort of applying lip primer or gloss before or after applying colour. It’s both a lip colour and a moisturiser. I also enjoy the fact that I can choose how deep I want the colour to look going easy during the day and darker in the evening. Where has it been all my life!’

‘I may be a little biased as Emma Stone is one of my favourite actresses, so I was aleady partially sold. But Revlon’s ColorBurst Lip Butter really is as buttery soft as it claims to be. The colour smoothed only easily and I could feel the moisturising formular sink into my lips. I’m not a fan of lip gloss, but the subtle shine the lip butter added to my lips had me doing an approving double-take when walking past mirrors in the office.’

‘With a menu of colours with names such as Sugar Frosting, Pink Truffle, Rasberry Pie and many more to choose from, who wouldn’t be tempted to try out the new lip butters. Well, I couldn’t wait! The packaging is enticing, the names are delicious and the colours are gorgeous – and guess what, the formula is rich, creamy and glides onto your lips. Like. Butter. Infused with hydrating mango, shea and coconut butter, they provide moisture, shine and colour.’

My absolute favourite lip colour at the moment – sheer colour that can be “built up” to be more intense and keeps my lips soft – I carry it with me everywhere (shade 050 – ‘Berry Smoothie’) – gorgeous!

The product is quite smooth and creamier than many other lip product, and there are a variety of colours to choose from. The only thing is you still need to touch up few times throughout the day and I would still recommend to apply lip balm before it for it to keep your lips moisturized and for the colour to last even longer! It is a nice product in general.

Lol @Matthys! Revlon lipsticks are all awesome!
@Debbie, I find most lipsticks tend to bleed. I use a Lipliner to avoid this.

I have the biggest girl crush on Emma Stone!
I love the packaging, its super girly and cute. The colours are really pretty too. I bought this in raspberry pie. Its a fantastic colour for an understated look especially for work. It applies beautifully, like butter!
My only gripe was that after a few hours, the colour bled into my lips and left my lips with an unflattering stain of some sort. Its a nice lipstick to have for a casual, daytime look.

I love the candy apple shade. It builds such a nice colour depending on how intense you want to go with the benefits of wearing a lipstick but not feeling all flaky after a few hours.

I don’t really use lipstick as most make my already very dry lips even dryer, but these one by Revlon are great. The nourish your lips and they come in a lot of wonderful shades!
