I generally have very good hair but after deep conditioning witht this product, my hair started breaking & falling off. My hair now has a very dry texture with hair knots. This product stripped all the moisture out of my hair. I would not recommend it to anyone.
I’ve never used Dr Miracles on my hair before and was a little apprehensive about the deep conditioning treatment. I was curious about the smell of the treatment as I usually (and incorrectly) assume most conditioning treatments to have a coconut scent to it – which I hate. Tearing the sachet open, the cream looked and smelled just like the caramel filling of my mom’s delicious peppermint tart. I had to stop myself from tasting it (it really was that yummy looking) and thought if this is what it could do to my senses, imagine what it could do to my hair!
After applying the cream and working it through your hair, you’ll feel a slight tingling sensation. When I rinsed Dr Miracles Deep Conditioning Treatment out, I was surprised at the silky and non-brittle state of my hair. The directions say for best results towel dry your hair, but who am I kidding, I take my heat styling very seriously, often on a daily basis (which is probably why I needed the deep conditioning treatment in the first place).
But the Dr Miracles treatment continued to protect my strands even through the rigorous heat styling I put my hair through – leaving it shiny, manageable and even feeling a little thicker.
It’s a pity the packaging isn’t reseal-able as a little goes a long way and I didn’t use the full sachet on my short hair. And just a small warning: this is a really intensive treatment and could make fine hair that’s only slightly dry and damaged oily.

I love it, I love the tingle! It leaves my hair soft and I like the smell too.
I was looking for just a treatment to regenerate my hair. The water in Jhb is a bit harsh on the hair so my ends started looking a bit coarse. I decided to try the hair mask and noticed that my hair felt much better and had grown quite a bit after 2 weeks. However, because the mask is so intense and thick, it takes some effort to rinse out the hair.
When applied, you can immediately feel the tingling sensation which is really refreshing. Just make sure when you rinse it off that you do it properly, otherwise your hair will feel oily afterwards. After using it, I have to say my hair feels soft and shiny. It also caused my hair to become oily quicker than before. I would recommend this for people with very dry hair.
All Dr Miracles deep treatments work well. I love them especially the three pack that comes with other styling products.
I use Dr Miracle’s Shampoo and Conditioner for curls, and it is INCREDIBLE! Everyone should be using Dr Miracle. I haven’t tried the treatments, but that is my next step for sure!
The product has kept the legacy going. It is a miracle, but the packaging is not. If you snip the corner, there is no way to reseal it, unless you use the old method of tying it up with a makeshift rubber band or something. If you keep this in the shower, it will make the product less usable and it will cause wastage, so I usually empty the contents into another tub to reuse again. I would much prefer it if they thought about this before and saved us the trouble.
I also have fine hair with just the tips damaged and I hate it when a product leaves my scalp feeling oily. When I want that I use Amla oil which is very good. I won’t be trying this product. Thank you Megan for an honest review.
I really have to get myself this. My hair is really heat damaged and this products sounds wonderful!
