I have never particularly loved dove soap and with body wash gels and cream washes available on the market its much easier and more convenient than using a bar of soap but someone advised me to try using dove soap as a facial cleanser and I thought why not give it a try. I have been using it ever since and I will continue using it. It works on my skin all year round, even in winter. It’s much better than most expensive face wash products. It’s mild, moisturizing and sooo affordable.
I have been using Dove soap (beauty cream bar) since I was a little girl. It was introduced to me by my mother as the soap to count on. Both her and I have sensitive skins and most other soaps caused irritation but this little wonder bar didn’t. It was a soothing and highly nourishing option to find and I have stuck with it for years, using it as a soap for my body and a effective cleanser for my face. When I first started using it for my face I was hesitant as it was to me just a soap. However my fears quickly melted and was replaced my joy as use after use it consistently yielded great results. It left my skin clean and soft and not at all dry and has helped me create a healthy skin tone. I have tried many other facial products but this is one of my all time favorite go to items, it never disappoints.
This bar is my daily essential.
My day hasn’t started right if I didn’t use my Dove soap. It leave my skin feeling so super soft, it’s luxuriously creamy and it smells clean and refreshing. It doesn’t make me break out like many other soaps do and it’s gentle enough to use on my face as part of my cleansing ritual. I can’t live without it.

The Dove Beauty cream bar, is a must have in my daily beauty regime. I use crème bar daily as a substitute, instead of using a face wash. I love the creaming lathering smooth effect. I have sensitive skin and this prevents any skin break outs. It’s gentle to my skin and does not leave my skin feeling hard and dry. Price range – good value.

I really like this bar soap beacause it is so cheap and it really gets rid of all the oil and leftover makeup on my face.
I use it as a pre cleanse before I use more vitamin enriched facial products and my skin is in amazing condition.
I would not recommend this product if you have skin problems or have very dry skin. With combination-oily skin this works great.

The packaging is a very practical little box in white with accents of blue and gold. The bar itself is quite hard at first, but quickly softens enough to work up a lather. The shape is easy to hold and it doesn’t turn to mush after multiple uses, like some other soap bars.
Now I actually cheat a bit, when I am in the shower, I use Dove soap on my face as well, instead of my regular cleanser and my skin has never looked better! My skin is left soft and smooth, without a dry tight feeling.
Dove soap is always a fixture in my bathrooms and showers. I highly recommend you try Dove soap if you haven’t already! You can buy the bars in bulk from Makro and Clicks to cut down on costs too.
This is a definite classic, and something everyone should have and use as a daily cleanser. I was my face every morning with the beauty bar, and my face feels clean and fresh, best way to start your day. It does not dry out your skin.
My favourite soap bar of all time!! You cant go wrong with Dove bar soap. My skin does not feel dry and feels soft and pampered. The scent is beautiful and clean.
