I tried every high end product on the market, I was the girl who would not leave the house without make up. Then, a friend at campus recommended I used Dove soap on my face because I was always complaining about my uneven skin tone, marks left by teenage acne and being Indian I suffered from major skin pigmentation problems.
I will be honest, I do not use it as a bath soap because I personally feel I require a more stronger smelling soap on my body however for my face this is my go to product. I have seen major improvement on my skin and I still use foundation but I do not require the coverage I used to use on a daily basis any longer.
This is a really good product, its worth the try and its also easy on the pocket.
Who knows, maybe its just what you are looking for in a face cleanser.

I only recently started using the Dove beauty cream bar, I bought a Dove antiperspirant and loved the fresh smell and the fact that it was colour fast. This made me try the beauty cream bar. WOW, my skin feels so smooth, that even my husband, that never even notices when I cut my hair or dye it purple, noticed my soft skin. I can honestly recommend this to any person – dry skin or not. This is much, much more than a soap.

I’ve been using this cream bar for as long as I can remember! This is a definite pamper for my skin as it leaves my skin moist and my complexion fresh & glowing. It has a great smell and a great creamy texture. The bar is actually small but it can last up to 3 weeks , it is a great value for money!

Since I have been a young girl, I have had sensitive and dry skin. I have always used the original Dove bar. The smell is great and it also lasts. One thing for certain is that it has been around for many many years, showing the quality and the love South Africans have for the product.
I also use it on my face when I have a breakout, for some or other reason it works to relieve it.
The price for the product is also good. It isn’t overpriced at all.

I absolutely LOVE the smell of the Original Dove products! This bar of soap feels extremely creamy to the touch, definitely not like other soap brands. The lather it creates is not too thick, which means that you will get quite a number of uses out of it :) The soap leaves my skin feeling baby soft, nourished, moisturised and protected – It’s almost like a soap and lotion all in one! It is also very mild and therefore could be used on sensitive skin. The fragrance is intense and lasts all day! I would definitely say this product is worth it and I would recommend it to friends and family :)

I use this bar mainly just for dry skin, in the winter it’s a great and fast moisturizer especially for your heels. After a while,the bar gets soggy and is like a gooey mess if you leave it in water or the shower.
I use this just for the body and not the face because it’s too rich for most skin types and can lead to acne.
