  1. This is an amazing product that comes in a slim and beautiful packaging.

It’s easy to open and use, and the fact that the color is visible through the lid makes for easy shopping.

The blush itself is amazing because of the silky creamy feel it has.

The pigmentation is great although it’s soft and easy to apply. There is no muddy or patchy look and it blends beautifully to leave you with a natural looking blushed cheek.

    I absolutely love this blush.

  2. I own 2 of these blushes. The peach one is called ‘Secret it girl’ and is stunning for Autumn and Winter or when paired with a smokey eye. It suits many different skintones also. The pink one called ‘Babydoll’ is my go to blush when i dont know what to use. And for the price, i think it is an amazing product

  3. I really enjoyed using this product. I bought a light shade and was not very pigmented but when I tried a darker shade my friend had it was just great! I then bought that shade for myself! Great colour and very blendable! Love it!

  4. The packaging of most essence powdery makeup products is still a problem with these blushers. If you drop it the top brakes off.

The colours in this range is really pigmented and stays on all day. I can really compare it to Mac’s blushers and say it is a nice dupe.

Essence is really affordable and great to use for a everyday look.

  5. Not my favorite blush but it has a great colour and does go on very silky like the name says, definitely a good bargain buy!

  6. I loved the first Essence Silky Touch Blush I bought so much I went out and got 2 more shades the next day! For their price, I think these are really excellent quality. Whilst perhaps not as long lasting as some other high-end brands, I find these blushes really give a beautiful soft finish to the skin with an almost “built in highlight”. The shades are very wearable and blend easily. I plan on buying all the available shades and will more than likely re-purchase the shades I have once I finish them.

  7. This blush is long-lasting in 2 ways:
    1) The longevity on my face
    2) The lifespan of the palette

It is not too pigmented (which for blush I suppose is a good thing, we are trying to avoid clown-faces), so the effect can be very natural-looking and dewy. It is not a shimmery blush, the lack of iridescence makes it perfect for day wear.

The product has no external packaging, it is bought in the plastic case you see pictured above. The clasp is tight and sure not to open in your bag, a feature I appreciate as I have had blush powder appear on the inside of my handbag a few too many times for my liking.

I have owned this product for a few months now and it has not cracked or dissolve in to powder in the case as some blushes do. The formula is great. I would definitely recommend this product.

  8. I tried this blush for the first time, I usually prefer a cream blush as it gives my face a glow and highlights my cheek bones. Powder blush is usually dry, BUT this product was amazing! It was easily blendable, smooth and looked as if I had used a cream blusher. The product is very reasonably priced and could last for about 4 months. For best results, I use a little on the apple of my cheeks, my forehead and chin, this gives my face a natural glow.

  9. Essence Silky Touch Blush in 60 – Life’s a Cherry: first of all, I love the name. That alone would be enough motivation for me to wear this blush. The packaging is a cute, transparent plastic compact with no mirror, which feels nice and sturdy in my hands. Personally, I never use the mirrors in compacts, so the absence thereof does not affect me.

This red-pink blush is ridiculously pigmented. That being said, be sure to have a light hand when applying this blush and rather tap it onto your cheekbones, so that you have control over the amount you apply. As you can imagine, this blush is very build-able. The only downside is that you need to touch-up the blush after about three hours as it tends to fade over time.

I would definitely recommend this blush, not only because of its affordability (R48 for 5ml), but also due to the stellar quality.

  10. I have this blush in 3 different shades – it gives such a lovely flush of colour and great staying power. You can also build it up from a sheer flush to a brighter pop of colour.
