I wasnt very partiular about the eyeliner I bought and i ordered the glimmerstick simply because it was there but I found myself pleasantly surprised after my first use.
The glimmerstick was softer than the eye pencils I normally used and results in an intense colour that glides on in just one swift swoop I dont have to struggle creating the perfect line or have to press hard on the pencil or go over my eyelid multiple times to get a solid black line anymore. Application is so much simpler and thats what I love so much about it, it makes getting the perfect cat eye so much easier.
And for extra added convenience there’s a built in sharpener in the top! So you’ll always have the perfect point when you’re applying your eyeliner.

For years I used eyeliners, shadows and kohls and thought my eyes looked great, but as I matured (after being an avid follower of IMBB) I discovered there are many more things that I can actually do to make my eyes look glam. So in my quest to find a good eye pencil, I discovered the Avon Glimmer Stick Eye Pencil. I tried it with great zeal and now I am hooked to it. I have been using them for the last month and I am quite pleased with the results.
I love this eyeliner so much. I have been using this product and this eye liner has not let me down . I use this eyeliner on my bottom waterline and it makes my eyes look lively, bright and bold . The best thing about this eyeliner is that you can use it on the eyelid as well as the bottom water line however it would not look as neat as a liquid or a felt tip eyeliner. The other thing I love about this eyeliner is that it is a glimmer stick and not a pencil eyeliner. You always have to keep sharpening the pencil eyeliner. These eyeliners work like lipsticks, just rotate a little and the solid eyeliner would come out. These eyeliners also last for a long time because there is a lot of product in this eyeliner. I have been using this eyeliner for nearly two years and this has still not run out. The only thing that bothers me is that the black colour in the waterline does not last very long, it only lasts for an hour and then it fades away. For a darker colour that would last for more hours you have to apply the eyeliner further down the water line which I don’t not like because it may permanently darken your eyes. Overall I love this product because of its soft black creamy colour. It does not hurt you eyes when applying and is suitable to wear everyday. I would buy this product again.

Avon Glimmerstick Boldest Black is a very nice little find for someone on a budget looking for a lasting Eyeliner! Its super soft and applies easily and its nice and dark! I have found in the past that some eyeliners tend to “melt” and fade but surprisingly enough, Avon Glimmerstick Boldest Black stays on for hours and it doesn’t fade or make little crumbs of eyeliner on your lower lids. at under R70 for this little find, its very affordable and really worth a try.

These are my holy grail pencils. When they are on sale I buy one, I always have 3… one in my make up bag (in my handbag), one on my dressing table and one in my cosmetics box. They apply smoothly, they last (I use it with Avon’s Eyeshadow Primer) and the color is bold (Blackest Black) and it’s so soft and smudging isn’t a issue if I want to blend my eyeliner a bit. Superb product and been using it since I can remember.
