Let me just say that face wipes as a pre cleansing step have remarkably changed the state of my skin… being someone who has was prone to break outs I was very hesitant to try out anything on my skin… but due to the state of it I used make up to cover up my concerns which in itself was adversely effecting my skin because I had no real cleansing routine… it was not until I started using face wipes that I noticed the drastic difference in my skin… I started using Dermalogica and Neutrogena wipes but found that Johnsons (the green packet) was the absolute best!!! I must say that TLC chamomile wipes are close second in the face wipe category for my skin type.
I like these wipes because they gentle on the skin, it helps remove my makeup within minutes without making my face breakout into a rash, it removes from the waterproof mascara, right down to the liquid lipsticks! Easy alternative than to sit and wash your face with soap and water.
I use this wipes on days where I am too tired to wash my face and what I love about it. I don’t need lotion after using them.
This product, for some reason, made my eyes burn and water. It’s odd because I usually rely on Johnnsons for gentle products, but this one did not react well with me for some reason.
It definitely removed the make-up and is convenient in the sense that when you take one out, the next is partially pulled out and ready for retrieval.
I feel like forking out 50 bucks for 25 wipes is a bit more than I am willing to pay on a constant basis for wet wipes. I’ll stick to my regular ones, thanks.
I use face wipes for two main reasons:
1. I get home late with make-up on my face and can’t be bothered washing my face or smearing make-up remover on a cotton pad.
2. I am on an airplane and I need to refresh, tone and moisturize my face.
This is not the ideal product for either of those tasks. It fails hopelessly at tackling mascara and even when using multiple wipes (the product not the action), I still had traces of foundation on my face.
Furthermore, it definitely won’t leave your skin feeling moisturized on a plane.
The wipes aren’t well sized. However, they smell great – a delicious fresh, clean smell.
I bought these for my husband who works outdoors most days. He keeps the pack in his car and freshens up during the day. He appreciates the mild smell and the non-oily feel. I do steal from his pack on occasions and also use while camping. My skin is dry but the wipes do not dry my skin. So we have a winner!
I bought it for the first time, and I love the refreshing feeling. It also smells wonderful, and does not leave your face wet from the moisture. Absolutely my first choice face wipes.
I saw an advert on tv about how wonderful these wipes were and I thought of trying them out. With my previous wipes, I had a problem of them drying out very quickly before I was even halfway of the pack. I normally bought 60 in a pack. Long story short, I bought these wipes and they worked very well for my combination skin. After my second wipe, all the make up would be removed completely and my skin would be clean. I struggled a bit when it came to removing my mascara and liner. After my second wipe I would still have a little bit of residue left. I took the mascara when I went for weekend-aways and holidays as I wanted to pack light. After using wipes, I would just apply my serum and night cream and be ready for bed. These wipes are good and very convenient!!
I have sensitive skin and this product worked great for me! It is easy to use and an essential after a night out or long day!
I took these wipes on holiday with me over December as I didn’t want to struggle with cleansing lotions in my luggage. They were so convenient – the pack is resealable so you don’t have to worry about them drying out and as there are 25 in the pack you only need to take one pack with you. I love the fresh scent and the refreshing feeling they leave on my skin. They remove my make-up well, but I must admit I struggle a bit to get my mascara off. I usually have to run over my lashes quite a few times to make sure everything comes off. Nevertheless it’s a great product to keep for trips and even in your handbag.
