The Vita-Rich Body Care Range is the latest from Johnson’s. Inspired by nature for healthy-looking skin, it consists of a range of body lotions, washes and soap bars that are enriched with natural ingredients such as rose water, grape seed oil, papaya and berry extracts.
The body lotions are fast-absorbing, non-greasy and enriched with shea butter, while the body washes have added glycerine to help hydrate skin and the soap bars are enriched with fruit extracts and protecting oils to actively cleanse and revitalize the skin.

I have tried Johnson’s Vita-Rich nourishing body lotion and I love the smell. The smell is not strong nor is it light, it just has the right amount of scent. It feels smooth and leaves on a cool sensation after application which makes it ideal for hot weather. Easy to open but not too easy for the little ones.
When I use it, I feel confident because of the scent it oozes and that it is long lasting. It makes me look forward to applying it again. This lotion can be used to repair dry skin. This lotion works for all skin types and for all ages because of how gentle it is, my toddler uses it too. One of its disadvantages for me is the thickness, it is too thin for me, I like my lotions a little thick. I would recommend this.

With a scent that may be described as green, ‘clean’ and light, the grape seed oil soap within Johnson’s Vita Rich range invites a little luxury into your bath time ritual. An added benefit is that it lathers well and has impressive moisturising properties, leaving your skin adequately hydrated for hours. At the same time, the cleansing effect it has on your skin translates to an all-day fresh feeling.
I have used the Johnson & Johnson’s Berry Mix and Papaya soap range. I adore the fruity lingering scent of the soap Soapy and the foamy lathering soft texture on my skin. It feel’s like your body has stepped in a fruit bowl bath tub.
My mother and I love trying new body washes and lotions and decided to try these out this month.
We started out with the Mixed Berry and Pomegranate Johnson’s Vita-Rich Body Wash, at R29,95 for (250ml) – It smells HEAVENLY! The consistency is rich and creamy, and leaves you feeling soft and smelling amazing!
Thereafter, we then decided that we HAD to try the same scents in the Johnson’s Vita-Rich Body Lotion, at R42,95 for (400ml) – The fragrance is just as wonderfully strong, leaving you smelling fantastic all day! The consistency is a little runny at first but doesn’t leave an oily residue. It soaks in really well leaving your skin feeling moisturised and nourished.
The bottles look very pretty as well – White with a pretty picture of the fragrance that’s inside.
My mother and I both LOVE these, and will definitely try a few more scents in the future. We would recommend these!

Papaya has fame as a natural exfoliator and skin toner. This range won me over because it hydrates and continuously helps to smooth my skin. I am impressed by the packaging and how great it smells.
I’ve recently started using this product. I love the smell and although I’d like to try the rest of the range, I’d struggle to buy another one in the range. It absorbs quickly but still leaves my skin looking most and hydrated, which previously I’ve only been able to obtain by using oils.
Johnson’s has been a brand I’ve used since my childhood, in fact since I was born – when I think of the brand the first thought that pops out of my head is baby care, but Johnson’s is not only a baby caring range they have also released a range suitable for the use of adults.
The lovely team over at Beauty South Africa sent me one of Johnson’s newly launched products their Vita-Rich Soothing Body Wash to try out. I’ve actually been tempted to buy this range ever since I’ve seen in pop up at my local Pick n Pay store, so I was really happy I got to first try it out before buying. The Johnson’s Vita-Rich body care range consists of body lotion (R42. 95 for 400ml), washes (R29. 95 for 250ml) and bar soap (R11. 95 for 175g) which is inspired by nature for a more healthier looking skin. All of these products are enriched with rose water, grape seed oil, papaya and berry seed extract – which sounds like a fruity explosion waiting to explode on my skin.
Although I haven’t tried any of the other products in the range I have to admit I am really excited to get my hands on them too from the experience I’ve had using their body wash containing rose water. I’ve never used a rose water infused product before, the scent really tickles your senses and it leaves your skin smelling of roses once you’ve done of with your shower. The body wash lathers up really well so not much it needed, In my opinion for the price point you really can’t go wrong. I’ve been using the Johnsons body wash for two weeks now and I’ve really been enjoying it,it’s sensitive on my skin which is important for me having a skin issue so if you suffer from sensitive skin you will still be able to use this and the extract doesn’t irritate the skin at all.
Either it’s my imagination, OR, Johnson’s Vita-Rich range thoroughly moisturises your skin!
I’ve been using this product for the past three weeks and I have already bought another bottle as back up. Johnson’s Vita-Rich soap has the most amazing fragrances and makes you feel fresh and hydrated after a shower. I prefer the liquid soap to the bar of soap, for some reason I feel it has a stronger fragrance, more lather and moisturises the skin better. Love it!
I ABSOLUTELY ADORE this soap – I received it as a trial and I absolutely love everything about it from the fragrance to how it made my skin feel. I will buy it again and again and highly recommend it. I felt so clean and fresh after I showered and my skin looked great so well moisturised. I am totally impressed Johnson and Johnson. oh I almost forgot – what a GREAT price for such an amazing bar of soap.
