Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain leaves a gorgeous flush of colour with the moisturising comfort of a balm – in one step. This balm stain gives a tint of colour and soft shine, for that just-kissed look, in a portable, self-sharpening chubby crayon. The ultra-moisturising formula glides on and feels very comfortable while the smooth gel formula is glossy on lips. Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain offers medium colour payoff – not too sheer but not heavy coverage.

  1. I have the natural tones, 505 Decadent Long Lasting Eyeshadow. It is one of the best products on the market.

  2. I have the colour 040 Rendezvous. It’s a great product. I love the colour and it’s affordable. The only slight problem is that it doesn’t glide on easily like the chubbystick.

  3. First of all I love the colour range! And how beautiful it just stays on my lips! One of the best on the market.

  4. I don’t like the idea of lipstick and always opt for a lipgloss. The only problem I have had with lipglosses is that they are mostly sticky. I love these balms. They tint your lips and moisturize it as well. I have them in 4 shades. Well worth it.

  5. I haven’t tried a lip stain balm like this before – simply because the hubby doesn’t like lipstick or gloss, and I don’t often find a colour that suits me. However, over my birthday haul, I noticed that Revlon has a special at Edgars and Clicks: 2-for-1 (R110). And being one who has to take advantage of every special – jumped to the opportunity. To be honest, when this product first launched – it caught my attention. Something about the “Just Bitten” lip stain stuck with me, I found it sexy and thought of nibbled lips that are plumper and just a little extra colour and man, was the picture in my mind on par. I absolutely love the red stain, merely because I can’t pull off the red lip look, but when it is just a stain… it looks great! I love a smokey eyed look, and just a little colour to the lips completes this look. I wear this everyday, I have a red and nude. It isn’t very long lasting, and isn’t as moist as lipstick (I like that, though) It certainly isn’t a gloss either. But it is great, it adds just enough colour with it’s lip liner qualities (giving you the option to have defined lips, to an extent) and still adding a little moisture. Stunning!

  6. I heard all the hype about these lip stains and just had to try it out. The honey douche shade is difficult to describe – it is dark pink that blended perfectly with my lips and looks so natural that I got away with wearing it at school. Don’t mistake it for a lip balm though, the downside is that it dried out my lips.
The staying power is amazing, really long lasting. Once set, it doesn’t transfer onto things like certain lipsticks do.

  7. I’ve been interested in the Just Bitten Balm Stains ever since they came out. My first balm stain I purchased was the red one. It lasted me almost a year and unfortunately got finished. When I was out at Dis-Chem, I was hunting for a new Just Bitten Balm Stain. I wanted a more Plum shade or deep pink which was vibrant. Here’s my joke for the day… I was absolutely smitten when I came across the shade Smitten, plus it included a free shade called Honey. I was super excited and purchased both Balm Stains for R110.

I came home and immediately tested both shades out. These balm stains are intense shades and can be layered to intensify the shade even more. The Just Bitten Balm Stains are super long lasting and leave lips super moisturised and refreshed. As soon as you apply the Just Bitten Balm Stain to your lips, you get a lovely menthol and minty fresh scent on you lips with a slight tingle as well as that “cold” feeling for a few seconds.

Putting the Balm Stain to the Test: I applied my Balm Stain to lips at 7 am in the morning and I was pretty pleased that at 11 am I still had balm on my lips which didn’t look blotchy or horrible looking.

Just Bitten comes in a strong plastic tube which has a silver twist at the bottom. The balm stain is a lot like a jumbo crayon and much like the famous Chubby Stick. As soon as you apply the balm stain, you’ll notice your lips have a slight “glossy” look which is convenient. This balm stain is definitely for a girl on the go and is simple to use, you really can’t go wrong!

Smitten is a deep pink/plum shade which is just too cute, it will suite most skin types and really isn’t for the faint hearted! It is intense and super vibrant, while Honey is a light colour, a very pale pink which just adds a tint to lips, this balm stain is much more natural and will suit very fair skin tones.

I would really recommend you give this product a try because these balm stains are very long lasting and come in a range of super cute and trendy shades.

  8. Absolutely love this product! The stain, minty smell, colours and definitely moisturising. Worth every cent!

  9. I thought the stain was not literal. I love the stick, though I should have probably bought a lighter shade because with my pale lips, at times the stain is uneven and untidy. I love it none the less.

  10. This product will definitely go on to be an icon product! who doesn’t have it in their make up bag? Well done Revlon, fantastic well priced fabulous product..
