So as a person with acne scars foundation was a constant battle for me. The battle in this was affordability and of course coverage. Cheap foundation give me little to no cover so one day I set out looking for a affordable foundation that will give me the coverage I need and that can suit my budget. I went to clicks and browsed all the shelves until I stopped at the essence display and I saw the make up to match foundation.
Although skeptical, I thought why not try it? It was affordable and I was desperate to try anything new. I went home and the next morning decided to test the foundation on my skin and boy was I amazed by the transformation on my skin. My skin felt soft and light and covered all of my scars perfectly. I was amazed by the shade and the matte picture perfect finish staring back at me. I am an essence addict to the very end and would recommend this product to anyone. It basically saved my life because I’m more confident at work which means I get more clients :-)

This make-up sounds like a true treasure. There’s nothing worse than trying to match your skin colour, and having to change it up with the seasons. There is nothing quite so frustrating. If this product really delivers, it will definitely become one of my favourites. Essence is great. Will be sure to try this out when I’m at Clicks next time. I am endlessly fascinated by the essence range! They make beauty so affordable.

I’m not crazy about the brand, as the price eludes to “you get what you pay for”, but the reviews make it sound worth it. I hardly wear make up as I detest that “made up” feeling, but sometimes a little coverage is needed. If this is as light as the reviewers say it is, I’d love it. Clicks also carries the brand, for those that aren’t finding it at Dischem.

I bought this foundation as I really love the Essence range it is a very light foundation and does not feel thick or heavy on your skin and it blends in so nicely for a barely there look, I cannot wait to see what Essence will bring out next their products are priced right and the packaging is lovely
