TODAY I AM USING THE REVLON 005 MEDIUM BEIGE FOUNDATION.I LIKE THIS FOUNDATION BECAUSE IT WEARS FOR UP TO 24 HOURS, IT IS FOR COMBINATION/OLIY SKIN TYPE AND ALSO IT GIVES YOU THE NATURAL AND FLAWLESS LOOK.THIS FOUNDATION ALSO HAS A SPF OF 15 JUST IN CASE YOU FORGOT YO PUT ON SUN SCREEN THAT Day.
The only foundation I will ever use. I am yet to find a replacement. It blends in perfectly with my skin, doesn’t cake and doesn’t cause breakouts (I have sensitive skin).
I have been using the Revlon ColorStay Makeup for Combination/Oily Skin for two years now and I have dry skin in winter I don’t wear it because it cakes no matter how much moisturizer I put on, and in summer it stays on beautifully and I’m able to take great pictures with it. I just wish that they could have one available for dry skin and if it is available I have not seen it as I have been searching for it with no luck.
This foundation isn’t good nor bad! I’m very picky with foundations, and have found that expensive for me is better. However, if you’re a babe on a budget, this is a good one for you. The coverage is medium but buildable. It dries very fast so do section by section. I’ve found that applying this with a good brush like the Sigma F80 works great, as well as with a damp beauty blender, which then enables you to build up more coverage should you need to. It is a mattifying foundation, but I do get oily within a few hours on my t-zone. All in all, it’s not the best foundation but it’s a pretty good one.

I bought this a month ago, I needed something that was gonna give me a full coverage because of my freckles. the assistant at Edgars told me this would give me what I need. when I wore this I got no coverage at all. my freckles were still visible. I had to reapply several times and I was still not getting what I wanted. the only thing I was happy with was the fact that it kept my face matte and shine free. that is all I like about it
This foundation should be a staple for every woman because it is easy to apply and get hold of. It doesn’t oxidize to a different shade and I don’t know anyone who is allergic to the formula. This is perhaps the selling backbone for Revlon and that does not surprise me. This foundation is available in so many shades and it delivers a flawless finish. It also photographs so well. Next to it’s sister Lancome, this foundation is my favorite.
This product is quite effective. It is a skin foundation and it gives a medium coverage on skin flaws. It is an open top glass bottle; I prefer a dispenser top on foundations. It gives a smooth feeling while applying it to your skin. I am a fan that it is not lumpy at all! I love that it looked natural, which is always the dream application.
This was my everyday makeup for about 3 years, I really did love it. The only reason that I moved away from it is because I started favouring the matte look more (I now use NYX “It’s all about Matt!”). This product lives up to the Colorstay name – it will not fade but is not too difficult to remove. I wouldn’t necessarily agree with the statement that it wouldn’t “rub off”. I have committed skincare suicide by sleeping with my make-up on and it did leave some marks on the pillowcase.
The packaging has room for improvement, the aesthetics of the bottle is all good and well, but there is no pump. It is a glass bottle, so you can’t squeeze it either. I had to pour on the back of my hand, heat the product up a bit and then apply to my face. The colour range is one of the more impressive ones I’ve seen; it accommodates for almost every skintone and I was able to find an exact match.
My favourite thing about this foundation is that it is super blendable. I really enjoyed this product and even as I write this review I am questioning why I ever left it. As soon as the NYX bottle is over, I’ll probably go back to this.
