  1. I really like these! I bought 1 shade and went back the next day and bought 2 more. I find it really quick and easy to apply when I don’t have time to blend and build up powder eye shadows. It stays wet just long enough to blend out the edges so there are no hard lines, but dries quickly enough too. Once it has dried, it’s not going anywhere, and it maintains its shine & colour all day and doesn’t crease. This also means you can use a powder eye shadow on top if it to deepen up the crease of the eye. I like that it comes with the sparkly matching liner…makes it easy to spruce up the look from day to night. I wouldn’t recommend it for more mature ladies as it may accentuate the creases on the eyelid. I also don’t recommend it for very sensitive eyes as it has an odd “cooling” feeling when you apply it.

  2. Awesome product – definitely something I’d use to go out clubbing. I would advertise the product for younger ladies from 16 – 32 – especially single ladies who are bold, confident, self assured and love to strut their stuff. The product is definitely made to attract attention to your eyes and is mesmerizingly beautiful once applied.

I love the 2-in-1 packaging – it is compact and very easy to carry around, although, once applied, you wont need to reapply for at least 12 hours or so.

I battled to get the consistency right in the first few tries – I was too generous with the eye art and the eye glitter took a few tries before it complimented the eye art. I got a lot of compliments when I used this product.

Recommendation: This product is amazing and a must for every lady to have in her handbag, the only suggestion I have is for a duo that can be applied during the day with office wear – still striking and bold but more blended and professional. I would definitely recommend this product to my girl friends.

  3. The Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art is truly unlike any other eye make-up product I have used. I prefer powder products when it comes to eye make-up, so I was super excited to try out this cream shadow and the accompanying liquid liner (double-sided applicator).

The purpose of the product is to add some dazzle and oomph to how one would normally do their eye make-up – adding a little more glitz and glam to what would otherwise be an ordinary eye shadow application. In my opinion, the dazzling and bold colours of the eye shadows are more suited for a night time look rather than a day look, or a look where you would opt to go for a more natural and fresh look. I received the shadow with the gold glitter liner and the brilliant emerald green cream shadow.

I believe the packaging is well suited for the liquid contents. The glass tube is great for the liquid consistency of the product. However, the fact that it is placed in a glass tube means that as the product starts to finish, one would not be able to access the last bits of the cream shadow or the liquid liner at the bottom of the glass tube. Otherwise, I think the glass tube is a durable and well suited container for the product. The content of the glass tube are bold in colour and are therefore attractive to the eye.

I didn’t experience the product to have a certain type of specific smell. I felt it has the same odour as other make-up products I have used previously. The product when applied does last throughout the work day.

Being someone who is more inclined to using powder products for eye make-up (as well a pencil eyeliner), I am starting off by using the products cautiously. Which will mean that the product will probably last me some time. I found that the first time I used the eye shadow, I was unfamiliar with the consistency and how much to apply using the dip stick provided, therefore the product did not blend in so great and made my eye make-up look over done (seeing as I did wear it to work). However, after a few tries and some practice, I managed to get the hang of how to use the cream shadow.

I was not entirely convinced or impressed with the glitter eye liner. The liquid liner is slightly more sticky than the eye shadow. The pointed brush applicator does not allow for a thin line onto which one may build to thicken. One also needs to re-apply a two or three more coats in order to be able to see the liner on the lid. But once the liner is visible, it is a brilliant gold shimmer colour and very striking against my medium-dark complexion.

I was thoroughly impressed with the eye shadow itself. The dark emerald green goes very well with my skin tone. The colour is bold and bright, and it is visible on darker skin complexions. What I love most about it, is how it glides on so smoothly and, with a bit of patience and practice, how it blends so well. I also love this as alternative to black eye shadow, which can be very stark and ‘goth-like’.

The one thing I would recommend when using the product, is to be careful if you are a first-time applicant of the cream shadow. Too much will make your look seem over-done, too little, will make it look unblended. And although the gold liner was not such a hit with me, I must say the coordination of the eye shadow and eye liner colours is spot on! The gold and the emerald are a striking combination. Which, again as I had said previously, is a look that is definitely suited for a night out on the town.

I would most certainly recommend this product to that girl who loves to have a great time, the party-goer, as well as that girl who would like to dazzle with brilliant lid colour be it at a dinner party or a get together, this product is awesome.

  4. I must admit that I usually steer clear of eye make-up, but that has not stopped me from admiring beautifully made up eyes! When I first saw this nifty eye make-up, I was mesmerised as it was so beautiful! I was super excited to try it out as it really looked quite easy to apply. Let’s just say that I was blown away by the glitzy results! With just one luxurious application of the eye shadow, my entire eyelid was caressed with gorgeous and creamy colour, with just the right about of sheen. Step 2 involved the fun part, the application of the glitter eye liner, which added the wow factor. So in short, this eye makeup treat really delivered exceptional results! I received many compliments and I felt that my brown eyes were enhanced by the coppery shade. With regards to the staying power of this eye art pen, let’s just say it lasted me from morning to well after noon! So the price, the results and the ease of application makes this a winner and a must-have product for every Hollywood dreamer:)

  5. I tried the Black Brilliance, which is instant glam in a tube. On one end, we have satin matte black with a wand applicator, which is perfect for application to the eyelid and smudge. It is also great to apply to the lashline for smoky seduction.
On the other end is a sparkly white, which I used on the inner corner of my eye to open and freshen my eyes. This particular shade works so effectively at doing just that that I’ve used it on its own for work days. I am so pleased with this product that I bought several other colours, including Desert Dazzle; Burnished Bling and Lilac Luster. I know you too will want more than one. So go on, give in and try it.

  6. The Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art is for women to enhance the windows to their soul. It is perfect for glamorous eyes. I love that the cream eyeshadow and eye liner are in the same tube. It reminds me of the Revlon Nail Art tubes. The metallic colours are eye-catching and I love the glitter #BlingBling. I absolutely love the cream eyeshadow! The glitter brush was slightly difficult to apply. First, there was only the clear stuff on my eye and none of the actual glitter and I dipped back in again to reapply. However, only after about the 3rd time did I get some actual glitter to line my eyes. It did last me from evening till midnight while I was out celebrating my birthday, however, the glitter smudges easily. I had glitter on my cheeks and fingers. I would repurchase different colours and I already have recommended this product to family and friends.

  7. I totally love these eye art products from Revlon. They are fool proof and offer over 12 hours of pretty eye art. The glitter glides on perfectly and dries almost instantly. I love that I can wear the eyeshadow shade separately or layer the glitter on top of it for more of an impact. I love just wearing the glitter liner alone though! I have received lots of compliments each time I wear it! The shades available are incredible too!

  8. The Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art combines a creamy colour with some glitzy liner. The product is aimed at creating a basic eye colour with some popping glitter, being easy to use and simplified with only one product in your make-up bag. The tube has double-sided applicators. It’s small so fits your handbag and can be a handy accessory for those days you need a touch up. The tube itself is not visually alluring, but practical and odourless. The base colour is a lovely creamy texture, and the glitter has a thinner wand and is of a more sticky consistency. It lasts a work-day, provided it thoroughly dries when first applied. The blue base colour was a bit dull. The glitter enhances the look, but is best suited to after work drinks. I liked the result of the product in its easy to use application. I would purchase a brown colour.

  9. I adore shimmery eye make-up so I couldn’t wait to try this amazing product out! First and foremost, the shades are incredible – highly pigmented and on-trend, there’s at least one for everybody. One side has a metallic liquid eyeshadow, which applies evenly and dries quite quickly. The other side of the product has a matching glitter liquid liner. I expected this to apply sparsely like a lot of glitter liners do, but I was so surprised to find that it provided a solid glitter line in just two or three strokes. The results are phenomenal and everyone in my office asked me about my eye make-up (I tried the turquoise one, by the way, which I think suits all skin tones). My only concern is that after about six hours, it started separating from my skin around the edges, and when I touched it to press it back down, the whole colour line peeled off. This may however be because I applied the metallic liquid shadow quite thickly – will apply it thinner next time. This is perfect for a night out on the town.

  10. I recently tried this product, and I was not disappointed. It added a unique sparkle to my make-up look. I used the glitter section and applied it as a top lid liner, and it looked fantastic! It created an eye-catching look, which I got lots of compliments on. I love how there are several colour duos in the collection, and I am eager to try them all! They are a beauty must-have to add that extra bit of drama to your look. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs a bit of sparkle in their life.
