I like this lip colour, it’s not very matte so if that’s what you after I would not recommend it. The liquid just never quite dried but it does have a really good lip stain. The colour is there even after a meal.

I love the texture of these lip-colours. They are creamy and easily applicable but all of them do not really blend well with my cappuccino complexion. I have to use a lot of lip liners to make them blend well – it’s SAD!! I bought the whole range even but I gave them away unfortunately…

I had really high hopes for this product after I read somewhere it was a good dupe for a Kylie lipkit shade, I can’t remember which one but I bought the dusty rose Revlon matte lip. I found it didn’t apply that well. It became streaky and didn’t dry down like I expected to. To be fair it was the first liquid matte I had bought and I expected it to be an unmovable matte like Kylie’s, so my expectations were high and probably unrealistic. I found the product just sat uncomfortably on top of my lips, never really settling or blending in. I wasn’t crazy about the smell but I do LOVE the colour. The dusty rose colour is perfect on my skintone and still remains one of my favourite colours. I would repurchase this product but I’m not going to stop wearing it.

I am always a fan of a good matte lipstick. I fell in love when I saw the range last year and recently saw that Revlon added more lovely colours. Revlon has 16 shades of this luscious and divine smelling matte lip colour.
What I really like about this matte lip colour is that with just one application, your lips are plump and full. It is not as drying as most matte liquid lipsticks. It does not portray a flat matte look, but rather a subtle matte colour. The shades are gorgeous and suit almost every skin tone.
One tiny problem that I experienced was that the colour tends to bleed on the lips but that is nothing a good lip liner cannot fix.

Revlon Ultra Matte Red. Applicator (brush ) glides easily. At first I was reluctant. When applied it looked like runny liquid gloss and after a few seconds, transformed my lips into a matte finish. Impressive, I didn’t have to retouch my lips for the next 6 hours.

Lovely and easily available. It doesn’t really dry up like a matte would. If you are a fan of super matte lip colours then you won’t like this. This has a more lipstick texture. It also wears off easily.

Completely in love with this new matte lipstick. It smooths on your lips, does not leave it dry at all and has a heavenly smell. It stays on the entire day without smudging and comes in an easy to use tube and applicator. I bought the colour “embrace” and it is a lovely rose colour that suits fair skin tones very well.It does however come in a range of gorgeous colours. At R170 for the tube I recommend you get yours today.

Being a Revlon fan I’m always intrigued by their newest product, this HD matte lip colour truly does give a high definition feel and keeping my lips moisturised throughout the wear. This gives a new meaning to matte lip products. Lipstick and lipgloss combined looking effortless gorgeous.
I love the soft applicator and not to mention the colours they come in.
The first application feels the same even after the first hour.

I like this lip colour but it doesn’t dry down 100% matte, so it does transfer quite a bit. If you don’t like sweet scents or just strong scents in general, you might not like this as it has quite a strong custard scent to it. However, the product is nice despite it not being matte.

I have been testing out Revlon’s Ultra HD Matte Lip colour 620 Flirtation, Flirt. It’s a gorgeous coral colour. The colour is really quite stunning. It’s rich and warm and happy, perfect for Spring and Summery days. The type of weather that we (in Durbs) have been having lately. The colour is one of my happy colours and it can brighten up your mood no matter what season you wear it. I think it is quite a versatile colour as you can wear it for day or night time looks. It’s the type of colour you would wear if you want to be noticed and you definitely do get noticed wearing it but in a good way, wink wink! It is not a colour that I usually tend to lean towards as I’m not one to attract a lot of attention but it is lovely and I liked stepping out of my comfort zone for a little bit and you know what they say… ‘Change is as good as a holiday’. I really like the packaging. It fits comfortably in my hand and I love the smooth rounded edges of the container. The container opens easily and the wand comes out smoothly, with just the right amount of lip colour on it. It’s not overly sticky and doesn’t make your lips feel tacky when on. You only have to use a small amount when you want to give your lips just a hint of colour. Or you can layer it up and create a more solid, bold, bright, vibrant colour. The colour is long lasting and doesn’t need to be reapplied too often which is a bonus. My lips don’t feel weighed down by the product, but they do feel soft and moisturised. The smell is delicious – it almost smells good enough to eat.
