Definitely one to add to your make-up bag! Rimmel London’s Glam’Eyes Trio Eye Shadow has three colours to entice and delight. At first glance, I thought it was yet another shadow-effect product, but turning the compact over I found that Rimmel actually included an instruction guide with tips so that you can fully utilise this eye shadow.
With the three colours (numbered 1 to 3) you can create either a subtle look using only number 1 and 2, or a London look using all three colours.
Tips included adding an aubergine eyeliner, while finishing off with a bright pink lip gloss. I was really impressed with this as I can sometimes be quite clueless when it comes to mixing and matching my lip gloss and eye shadow.
The Glam’Eyes Trio Eye Shadow also mentions which eye colour it complements. In this case, I was using 720 Dreamy – perfect for green eyes!
Now to the application… I loved the soft sponge tip applicator. It made the process of applying each colour effortless, smooth and quick. Definitely a must for women-on-the-go!

I am really disappointed in this product, which I cannot say about most Rimmel products. The shades of the Green Sapphire quad were not very pigmented at all, and even though I did some serious layering of the shadow, it still did not give the effect that I wanted. What I did like about the product, and what initially attracted me, was the little crown that is embedded in the shadow. I absolutely adore when shadows have imprints on them and the rest of them had these quilted patterns. I found that was super cute and it is the only reason it received 3 stars. The physical appearance gets a mega thumbs up.

I love these trios by Rimmel. I’ve collected so many of them. They come in amazing unique colours. I often use it on my waterline as well and it doesn’t smudge much. It also suggests how to use to use it to create a smokey effect which is great for beginners. I love the application brush as well as it helps to apply the shadows effectively.
