Over the years I have tested many different foundations, a lot of which have been ended up disappointing me. Every now and then though I find a foundation that really impresses me.
I usually purchase foundations based on recommendations from beauty bloggers who have a similar taste in make-up and have the same skin type as me. Recently I read a compelling review for the new Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation and considering it’s an affordable price I decided to give it a go. Unlike a lot of drugstore foundations I have tested, the new Rimmel foundation comes in a pump action bottle, which allows me to dispense the perfect amount of foundation (and it is also a lot more hygienic).
The formula is lightweight and blends easily with my buffing brush. The foundation provides light coverage that looks natural but still evens out my skin tone. I have been using this foundation daily since purchasing it and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality. In my opinion, this foundation offers the same quality as high-end foundations, but for a fraction of the cost.

I bought a rimmel foundation. I have been using this product for 3 years now. This was the first time this morning I opened a new bottle it was very watery and not the way it normally be. I’m not happy with the product at all

First Impressions: So changing from one foundation to another is definitely a challenge.
Firstly Rimmel Londons Lasting Finish Foundation for dry skin is available in many shades to fit every skin colour. It comes with a pump to easily squeeze out foundation and you don’t use to much and there’s no mess.
I must say that its a thick foundation but when applying it’s not so thick but the coverage is excellent! It blends beautifully.
If you have a dry skin like me or have eczema, a good moisturiser underneath will definitely help with the flakyness and dryness of your skin and make application of foundation more even.
I do like this foundation and after 5 hours still no touch up needed. It doesnt change colour or fade away. If you have oily skin you can use the Rimmel London Perfect Match foundation with the blue cap

Finding a suitable brand of foundation is always tough, luckily, for me, I’ve discovered the Rimmel match perfection foundation, true to it’s name, this brand of foundation offers a vast range of colours that suits every skin tone out there, over and above finding a perfect match of colour, it is easy to apply and blends well with the skin. Rimmel match perfection is light on the skin and is long lasting with more than satisfactory coverage!

Honestly this may be my third compact from this brand, i discovered it while snooping through my mums make up cabinet and since then I’ve been hooked. It’s easily one of my favourite compacts, this on top of a bb cream, works perfectly ( concealer for who?) for someone who’s on the go. It provides great coverage as well as matte finish. It contains a mirror which stays clean as it’s in a separate compartment along with an applicator, i personally prefer applying it with a kabuki brush. I have the shade true ivory 103.

I’ve decided to skip the purchase of my high end foundation this month and purchased this foundation instead as it’s a fraction of the price. I have to admit that not only is this product affordable but really does deliver as promised. The formula is lightweight giving you flawless coverage with a natural look. It blends in perfectly to your skin tone without caking. Even though this foundation is by no means a high end product, it does give you a beautiful, flawless coverage.

Everytime I find a foundation I love, which isn’t often, it dissappears off the market. I hope as many people love this foundation as much as I do and it stays! It is lightweight, doesn’t shine if you brush a bit of powder over when you apply it, lasts all day and blends perfectly with your natural skin tone. I’m really pale so I use the Ivory shade and it’s the perfect match ;)

I have a very weird skin. It will have dry, flaky patches next to my nostrils and my chin and nose bridge will be bumpy. I need a dewy foundation and this foundation is perfect for me. It stays dewy the whole time I wear it and it doesn’t crease or go cakey The texture is amazing, light on your skin and the shades matches perfect with each skin tone. It’s a medium coverage foundation.
