An effective deodorant can sometimes be difficult to find, and although I’m not a very sweaty person, I like to use a deo with a little added protection during the warmer months.
I enjoyed this latest offering from Shield. Having never used one of their deodorants before, I was excited to give it a go, and used it religiously every day. Not only did I not sweat the entire day, but I could remain confident all evening too, as I remained dry and fresh.
The product applied easily and spread without much effort on my part. It also dried relatively quickly, which is a major plus.
My only criticism is that the scent of the deodorant was a little strong for me. I usually prefer a neutral scent that disappear once the product is dry, and unfortunately I continued to smell this one for quite some time after I applied it. Other than that, I was thoroughly impressed.

This Shield Clinical Protection deodorant makes a lot of promises, but they did not live up to my expectations. I suffer from excessive sweating and have tried every deodorant that promises dryness and none have delivered so far.
I bought my Shield Clinical Protection for R59.99 and used it as instructed. I used it on a day that was cloudy and raining and it did not pass the test. I did experience wetness on my underarms.
I will admit that the wetness is not as excessive as before, but it definitely does not keep me dry.
Keeps me smelling fresh all day long, like I literally just stepped out of the shower. Love the “clean” packaging.
I love this product! I have been using it for a week and I am truly impressed. I have to increase the use of underarm products during summer (I have to apply much more and over a bigger area) and most cause a terrible reaction (I have sensitive eczema-prone skin). I use this product in the evenings after a shower, and I use my normal underarm (much less of it now) after my shower in the mornings. My underarms seem to stay dry and odour free the whole day. My underarms are also smooth and soft and I have experienced no irritation. This product is expensive, but worth every cent. I will purchase it again.
I received this product to try and was not very impressed. As ever since shield has improved their formula I have been experiencing a terrible reaction. I used it as directed and the next day my underarm was inflamed and itchy. Five days later I will still experiencing the same symptoms. Will definitely not be using this product again and it was most disappointing.
I’m almost done with my first bottle and have bought another one, lasts a long time. Only thing I dont like is that it takes a while to dry and leaves white marks on my clothes.
The smell is great, keeps me fresh and dry all day.
This is an excellent and very innovative new packaging. It smells fresh and keep me dry and does not create any white or yellow stains on my underarm or clothes. The price is affordable it serves it purpose and more.
