‘I know yellow is huge at the moment but I find the packaging a little alarming for my slightly more conservative tastes; but aren’t the little burnt orange leopard paw prints on the top too cute? The curved “claw” brush definitely makes getting to those pesky little corner lashes much easier and so your eyelashes are indeed, as they said they would be, flicked out and cat-like. And the lengthening is phenomenal. But I am unconvinced by the volume, to be honest. Perhaps if I, as they suggest, add a stroke of gel liner to my lash line and wing it out at the corners it would give the impression of more volume. But that aside, the mascara is a handy stand-by – to go with one or other of the Maybelline lipsticks that are always floating around in my bag. I am addicted to them. Inexpensive, glide on easily, great colours, and they don’t taste funny like I find some other brands do. And did I mention the price?’

I love this product. It’s been discontinued in South Africa. I’ve been searching for this everywhere. Something about this formula made my lashes look like falsies. It was absolutely amazing. But now my lashes are suffering. No other mascara compares. I wish this product could be back on our shelves.

This is a mascara i use quite often. Yellow colossal tube. Claw, curved brush with tiny bristles. I like the formula that is slightly wet and dries to a matte finish. It does not make my lashes crunchy and definitely helps define my lashes well. I love that this mascara can be used alone or layered. It does flake slightly but it isnt something that i cant deal with. I have repurchased this thrice already and i will probably continue to do so.

I love this mascara from its daring yellow packaging and its pawprints, right down to its applicator. I have puny fair eyelashes, so I thought getting them anywhere near a cat eye look would take a miracle, but I find with this product, after just two applications my eyelashes look long, curvaceous and feline! The curved brush at the end of the wand prevents clumping and curls the lashes beautifully. I also don’t find any residue dropping off during the day. My hubby loves to tell me when my mascara is falling off my face ( he isn’t a makeup fan) He never complains when I use this product of Maybelline’s! It lasts all day and is easy to remove at night. What more could a girl ask for in the perfect mascara?

I love the Maybelinne Colossal Mascaras. They are my all time favourite mascaras. You get great volume, fanned out separated lashes that holds the curl all day. Furthermore, you don’t get fallout throughout the day on the under eye area, and although I never use waterproof mascaras, I didn’t struggle with smudging.
The wand is nice and big, and you can really get into your lashes to make them look amazing. Definitely recommend the colossal one!

I am a loyal fan of the Maybelline Volum’ Express mascara. It is easy to apply, leaves lashes looking perfectly manicured and it is easy to remove with makeup remover.

I really enjoyed this mascara. This is a very effective mascara that helps add volume and defines your lashes. The brush shape is curved to give you the great curve shape to your lashes. It did get a bit clumpy towards the end. It is inexpensive and easy to find at the usual branches.

I only use Maybelline Mascara! It is the best I have tried.. it lengthens lashes and isn’t clumpy and the wands are better then any other brand I have tried. My favourite is probably Lots of Lashes or Falsies but Volume Express Colossal Cat Eyes is also fantastic!
