Scents of summer – the masculine fragrances we recommend this season

Finding the perfect masculine fragrance this summer can be tricky – but only because there are so many good ones to choose from. We recommend identifying the type of fragrance notes you like, and then doing some research to find out which fragrances incorporate them.

Summer scents are usually lighter and fresher than their winter counterparts. Keep an eye out for:

Sea / marine-inspired scents
These fragrances have a beachy or summery feel, and often include notes of salt, citrus fruits, white florals and sea spray.

Citrus / fruity-inspired scents
Light and fresh, citrus or fruity fragrances are usually uplifting and vibrant. They may include notes of lemon, pear, mandarin, passionfruit, apple or black currant.

Fresh / plant-inspired scents
These fragrances can be leafy, earthy, powdery or even floral. Also known as “green fragrances,” they may contain notes of grass, tea leaves, green leaves and some marine plants.
