“I often wish I had a bit of a boost to get me through a gruelling gym session, but I usually steer clear of energy drinks because of the high caffeine content. When the new SuperC Energy Drinks landed, I was excited to give them a go because not only are they caffeine-free, but they are also infused with a host of essential minerals like zinc and vitamin C.
These drinks are absolutely delicious and are available in two flavours – Original (which has a citrusy taste) and Mixed Berry. They’re refreshing and crisp, and delightful on a hot day!
I tried them before my regular gym sessions, and I had more energy, stamina and motivation to keep going. I find the 500ml tin a bit too much for me to finish; I have around half at a time, so if you can’t manage all 500ml by yourself, you can easily share a tin with a friend.
I love that the drinks contain zinc and vitamin C, two essential nutrients to build immunity and protect your body from viruses and other threats. And the fact that they’re caffeine-free is a major bonus for me. I’m a coffee drinker, but I limit my daily intake for health reasons, so when I need an energy boost for a workout, I always avoid additional caffeine.
