It’s a glamorous scent with an interesting mix of notes; think rum and passion fruit in the top notes, musk and gardenia in the heart and a base of classic warm notes like tonka bean and creamy vanilla. Yum!

The annoyingly gorgeous Blake Lively fronts the ad campaign looking perfectly red-carpet-ready. This newbie from Gucci was actually inspired by awards show couture, celebrating the Gucci Premiere couture collection shown at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival. Need anymore convincing that this is one of the ultimate ‘big event’ fragrances? We reckon it’s on the up-and-up to becoming a future classic because ‘the juice’ is a mix of sexy, feminine and sophisticated. We love the mix of zesty top notes (think orange blossom and bergamot) with white flowers and musk at the heart and leather and wood in the base. Too delicious for words!

Boss Nuit Pour Femme, R965 for 75ml EDP

If your party fashion staple is a little black dress, this fragrance accessory is a no-brainer. Inspired by the essential LBD, this is great scent for a special festive season date or cocktails and canapés as the sun sets. Built around a heart of white flowers, jasmine and violet, when you first spritz the scent you’ll smell sparkling notes of aldehydes and peach. The base is an elegant mix of crystalline moss and creamy sandalwood. A big thumbs up from us!

Pack this sweet and delicious fragrance in your travel bag if you’re heading somewhere hot and wear it every evening (and morning too for that matter).
