Eight fragrances that smell like spring

As much as we love a mysterious and heady winter perfume, one of the things we get most excited about when the season changes is the influx of new spring fragrances. Light, floral and fresh, spring fragrances have a way of taking on the general spring feeling of positivity, along with a renewed energy.

These are the fragrances we’ll be wearing this spring:

Lancôme La Vie Est Belle Eau de Parfum (R1930.00 for 50ml)

This may not be a new fragrance, but it will forever be one of our spring / summer favourites. Filled with floral notes of jasmine sambac, orange blossom, iris and patchouli, this best-selling feminine fragrance is pure happiness – and just what we’d recommend for spring.

Women’Secret Intimate DayDream Eau de Toilette (R599.00 for 100ml)

Sweet and delicate, Intimate DayDream comprises delicate orange blossom, plum blossom, sparkling tangerine and delicious blackberry. This softness is contrasted by an enveloping tonka bean and the absolute addition of dark chocolate. We love its dreamy appeal.  

Skin Creamery Skin Scent (R450.00 for 75ml)

Inspired by aromachology (the study of the influence that scents have on humans), Skin Scent is a local, vegan perfume featuring a blend of earthy, citrus and spicy notes.
