Gwyneth Paltrow is known for investigating (and now selling) the wackiest and most bizarre products and treatments through her lifestyle company Goop. Anyone remember her head-turning launch from earlier this year, the This Smells Like My Vagina candle? Of course you do. You may not even have recovered from it yet. But guess what? It sold out. An item we thought would never take off, was a huge success. If you don’t know what we’re talking about, check it out on Goop here. It’s real, we promise.
Now Gwyneth and the team are back with another strange-but-true candle variant. Any guesses? She revealed the This Smells Like My Orgasm candle on an episode of Jimmy Fallon’s talk show this week.
The 47-year-old said, “What a punk-rock, feminist statement, to have that on your table . . . and we have a new one, which actually might be more for you to give to your wife,” Gwyneth said before unboxing the new candle during the virtual call with Jimmy. “This smells like my orgasm. Naturally,” she added.

So which scents, exactly, did Gwyneth hand-pick for this candle? According to Goop, “this blend is made with tart grapefruit, neroli, and ripe cassis berries blended with gunpowder tea and Turkish rose absolutes for a scent that’s sexy, surprising, and wildly addictive.”
It retails for $75 online, which equates to around R1293. We’ll let that sink in for a minute.
