Why am I always lacking energy?

Hi doctor. No matter what I eat or drink, I always seem to be lacking energy and motivation. Do you have any suggestions of what I can do to up my energy levels?

How to improve energy levels and get motivated

Energy levels are mostly dependent on the following factors: blood pressure, blood sugar, various hormone levels and levels of vitamins, such as vitamin B; and levels of various minerals, such as iron. Various energy-providing foods and supplements work by addressing these issues. To avoid picking up weight or worsening some hormone levels, I advise having your health practitioner checking all of these to determine exactly where the problem is originating, before trying some high energy foods. Remember to take along all of the supplements and medications that you are currently taking for them to examine too.

  1. I feel like I have more energy if I exercise first thing in the morning and eat more protein as opposed to carbs.

  2. I have the exact same problem, lack of energy. I take my vitamins daily and exercise to keep healthy. However, I always feel tired, have done tests and everything seems to be fine so I’m not sure if it’s psychological or what.

  3. My sugar levels are my problem, out of the blue I get dizzy spells and I just feel weak.Sometimes it causes me to grab anything close by.

  4. My Iron and blood sugar levels are always too low. I don’t always look after myself, I know I must start taking my vitamins regularly, I tend to start and then forget after a week.

  5. Living an active lifestyle and balancing work and family life means we need essential vitamins and minerals to keep us at our best.

  6. My iron levels are low and I think I lack energy because of my low iron level. I don’t like taking pills although I may just have to start having supplements
