I have been biting my nails for as long as I can remember. Every time I manage to stop, it is only a couple of days before I do it again, as it is stress-related. What can I do to quit for good?
I’m not going to lecture you about how bad biting your nails are, as you probably already know.
Have you tried treatments that make your nails taste bitter? Otherwise try using a bright coloured nail polish so that every time you move your hands towards you, it will serve as a reminder not to bite. If that doesn’t work, try and use press-on manicures, this will act as a barrier for your real nails.

I am so guilty of this bad habit, but I have found that putting in tips on my nails helped me.
I’m a terrible nail biter, have been for all my life. I have tried all sorts and just get my nails nice and long. The minute one breaks, I’m back to biting. I hate how my nails look and try hide them when in company.
I am glad I don’t bite my nails. I love Azraa’s comment, it is so true :) If you take time to do your nails, you won’t feel like messing them up.
I luckily dont bite my nails. Maybe if you paint your nails and do some nail art that takes long, you will feel bad to mess up your lovely nails :)
I’m a nail biter especially when I’ve had a few drinks. But the only way for me to stop biting my nails is to do a manicure…that’s the only thing that helps.
