IV infusions: The smart way to optimum health (and glowing skin!)

IV infusions: The smart way to optimum health (and glowing skin!) 1

Eating a balanced diet is one of the most important things we can do for our health, but it takes a village. There isn’t just one miracle vitamin or mineral that’ll do the trick, it takes a village and you also need to ensure you’re getting enough of everything. Vitamin and mineral deficiencies are often the root cause of a myriad of health issues and illnesses. But it gets trickier. If you’re suffering from a condition like leaky gut syndrome or even have something as seemingly simple as a bacterial or fungal overgrowth, you won’t be able to absorb the nutrients needed for a full bill of health.

Go direct!

One way to ensure you’re getting a proper dose of the good stuff is via intravenous or IV infusion therapy. It’s a great way to get the exact nutrients, in the right amounts, delivered directly to your cells as it bypasses your digestive system. This way you can rest assured you’re reaping the benefits of maximum absorption.
More plus points? Intravenous therapy can help boost flagging energy levels, assist with a detox, aid weight loss and even speed up your recovery after an illness that’s left you feeling run down. Getting a wallop of the right nutrition can also improve the health of your hair, nails and skin. (Our popular skin brightening infusion cocktail contains glutathione, a potent antioxidant that reduces your skin’s production of melanin resulting in a lighter and more even-looking complexion!) So, it’s not just going to help you feel better, you’ll look good too!

Custom nutrition

You’ll find Skin Renewal has a host of IV infusion treatments for you to pick from but a chat with one of our doctors will help you figure out which one would benefit you the most. There’s no guesswork, either. After an initial consultation, our doctors will send you for baseline blood tests to find out what you’re lacking and ensure that you’re a good candidate for the therapy.

In the same way that you can’t just eat a healthy, well-balanced meal once off and expect to see results, you’ll need multiple infusions to truly reap the rewards. Most of them require 10 to 20 sessions a week but it’ll be something to look forward to if you opt to indulge in a pampering session during your treatment. We don’t know about you, but a mini massage or a mani and pedi while getting the optimum dose of the right nutrition sounds like a great way to take good care of your health!

    1. Hi Teresa, Skin Renewal have opened so feel free to get in touch with them for an appointment.

  1. Never knew about this until now. I wonder what is the cost of a session. Sounds like the IV session will have great benefits

  2. Are there any people that this is safe for? For example, if you are recovering from a particular illness?

    1. Our experts replied: As with absolutely any medical treatment or medical procedure, no treatment or procedure should be undertaken without first having a consultation with a Doctor. This is why all patients are screened before having any treatments at Health Renewal. There are a few IV infusions that are very safe (obviously if administered by a medical professional under the correct, hygienic conditions), that absolutely anyone can have, where the aim is to simply boost vitamins and minerals that every person should have in their body anyway. Of course if there is an illness or a medical condition that you are currently suffering from, that changes the dynamic as these safe IV’s are obviously aimed at the average “normally healthy” individual… so if the patient is ill or struggling with some sort of illness or condition, this would not be the route to take. They would rather be referred to a Doctor first.
