I’m not a fan of wearing foundation everyday. I prefer a tinted moisturiser or a tinted sunscreen. But since using BB cream, I doubt I’ll go back. This BB cream does everything it says on the bottle. It gives your skin a smooth glowing appearance. The only down side to this product for me is when I wear it over any kind of sunscreen it becomes rather oily. Sunscreen on its own is fine. BB cream on its own is fine. But somehow the combination is rather oily. Overall a great product with a great price!
Garnier’s new oil control BB cream has changed my make-up regime permanently.
For many years now I have tried to find the perfect light cover foundation to give me an even tone without looking caked with make-up.There has never seemed to be a product that gives you that extra confidence boost without the constant panic of this foreign substance seeping into my pores.
Mixing foundation with moisteriser in order to thin it did achieve the lighter feeling application but left my face looking oily and exuding a permanent shine.
All this changed with Garnier’s oil controlling BB cream. The cream is light and gives you a natural look while ensuring you feel confident throughout the day.
The colours available are somewhat limited but are generic enough that a bit of bronzer or powder to finish ensures a completely natural tone.
I’d advise any ladies without problem skin or the rare outbreak to try this product. It has the perfect amount of coverage without you feeling like you’re wearing make-up… it’s like magic!!

I love this BB cream. I’ve used up two tubes already and I’m going to buy a third one. I have very pale, dry, sensitive skin and this stuff doesn’t make it oily or gives me break outs. The colour match isn’t 100% perfect, but it’s not so bad that you can’t get away with it. Also, I don’t think this specific one will work well for oily skin, because it does seem to have a bit of an oily texture. I like the smell. It’s kind of citrusy. Awesome product!

Apart from it being the cheapest BB cream in the country, it is a true skin perfector. It mosturizes the skin leaving it soft. What I like most is the oil&shine control effect. For all those ladies who like wearing less make up like me, this is the product for you. This BB cream covers your blemishes perfectly like wearing foundation. Thumps up for this one.

This is one of the most talked about BB creams on the market, and I had to try it after hearing some of my favourite beauty bloggers mention it repeatedly.
I was quite hesitant to use it seeing that I have combination skin with dry cheeks and a tendency to break out. I hate matte products which make your face look caked and unnatural, so this dewy BB cream sounded like a good fit for me rather than the alternative for oily skins.
Pro’s:
1. Wonderfully natural cover which is light-medium but buildable.
2. Affordable (a fraction of the price of most other BB creams).
3. Available at most pharmacies and even supermarkets.
4. Moisturises without excessive oiliness.
5. SPF 15.
6. Applies wonderfully with fingers or make-up brushes.
Cons:
1. THE SMELL! This really is a big let down, it smells overwhelmingly of apricots… To the degree that it lingers the whole day and makes me feel self conscious!
2. The lightest shade is not very light and has a significant orange tinge, this is however very blendable and I can make it work on my skin.
3. The staying power is not great. It tends to settle in fine lines and touch ups are needed throughout the day.

Garnier BB Cream for oily/combination skin is a great multi-purpose beauty product. It provides SPF20, an essential ingredient in sunny South Africa.
It is packaged in a thin plastic tube. I was a bit disappointed as some of the product leaked out from the tube into the lid and was a bit messy. The box contains most of the information you need to know about the cream. The cream itself is a bit runny, which works well in preventing you from applying too much and gives you that natural look. For days when I needed a bit more coverage I simply added another layer. This still gave me a flawless finish that blended well with my natural skin tone. It has a very faint, typical foundation smell which doesn’t linger.
The BB Cream lasted me throughout the day, and gave me a lovely matte finish, but not that horrible powdered-face look. I did use a bit of loose powder on my forehead as my forehead is oilier than the rest of my face. My nose is very dry and this product isn’t ideal for dry skin (it says on the packaging it’s for oily skin), but overall I was very happy with it.
Some of my female co-workers did comment on how great my skin looks so clearly there is a noticeable difference since I started using Garnier BB Cream. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a versatile BB Cream that offers great results at an affordable price.

I really like this one because I have dry skin. If you have oily skin, I wouldn’t recommend using this one. Garnier has another BB cream specially formulated for oily skin.
It keeps my skin moisturised and glowing all day. It has a good amount of coverage if you aiming for a natural look and just want to even out your skin tone and complexion.
Best BB cream I tried and not going back.

This is such a great product. I’ve stopped using foundation because is just lighter and simpler, not obvious like foundation. It makes your skin look refreshed and beautiful.

Not too long ago I got a sample of this product in a magazine and I loved it! A problem that I have always had is that when I wear foundation it’s always super thick and looks super fake. I also have freckles which I’m not overly fond of so I tend too wear foundation often. When I tried Garnier’s B B cream I was so impressed with the results. It’s refreshing, gives a naturally beautiful skin glow and it’s also great for your skin. It’s really a great product, possibly my favourite in this line!
