I have bought the Essence The Gel Nail Polish called “a Whisper in Spring” ,The Gel Nail Polish Base Coat & Top Coat. This product works without the lamp, that’sin the past! Now it’s as simple as a Base Coat, colour and a Top Coat.
This special nail polish formula provides nails with an amazing gel shine. The innovative colour technology offers intensive colour and perfect coverage, giving you an incredible finish. I have tested this combination for a week.
Let’s start with how to apply them. First you apply the gel nail polish base coat on your nails and let it dry completely. The consistency of the base coat is slightly thicker than normal and it takes some time to dry out completely and it gives matte like finish to your nails. After base coat I have applied 2 coats of Essence The Gel Nail Polish a Whisper of Spring. This is a simple but beautiful light purple colour and it’s a lovely colour to wear in Spring that are on the way! It dries quickly and you don’t have to wait longer in between 2 coats. The brush is very handy and glides evenly on nails. Once your nail polish is completely dry apply thin layer of top coat. The consistency is optimal. Neither too thin nor too thick. Base coat and top coat are easy to apply. Once you apply top coat on your nails, it adds lovely gloss to your nails. Even light purple gel nail polish has its own very good shine but adding thin layer of top coat seals your nail polish and prevents chipping on nails for more days.
So now let’s see how long the nail polish really have stayed down. On third day I had two chips on my right hand nails as I do my work that involves a lot of typing, cooking, etc… with the right hand, but myleft hand nail polish was still there and no chipping on nails. Then on fifth day my left hand nail tips looked a little worn but they were not looking so bad and still my nails were glossy like the first day.
According to me 4-5 days wear is really good. If you are not doing any home work then I think it will last longer!
I was very excited to try the Gel Lacquer of essence. Mainly because you do not need LED lamp for the application. The paint lasts quite longer and has a nice gel-look finish with a beautiful shine. I am already looking forward to the other shades and am definitely going to try one or the other colours.

English rose is shade 111 in the ‘colour and go’ range. According to their site the colour and go range has the beloved gel-shine finish with a highly intensive shine and an extremely short drying time for perfectly polished nails in a flash!
The nail polish comes with a flat brush which makes for easy application. I use the three step method to paint my nails to ensure a neat finish every time.
The texture of this nail polish was very creamy. The name describes the colour perfectly. It is a mauvey pink with some brown to it. You can apply two coats for a more opaque finish but one coat would actually be sufficient. It is really glossy as mentioned in their site, which gives it a more professional finish.

They are very budget friendly without compromising on quality.
Love the bottles with the matching lid colour! makes finding the one I want to use in my collection so much easier (and prettier!).
They have such a wide and amazing range of colours.. including effects nail polishes.. that add sparkle or matte to your nail look.
You only need to apply 2 coats at the most and they take fairy quick to dry.
They last on my nails without chipping for at least 5 days.

This colour range is amazing, I can’t think of a single one of my friends that doesn’t own one of these bottles. I personally have it in 2: a nude colour and a pastel purple. The formula is smooth at first but after a few months I have noticed it getting a little thicker (my Essie and Revlon nail polishes keep their viscosity).
The packaging of these nail polishes is very bright and funky with the lid matching the contents of the glass bottle. The brush is long enough for long strokes without having to redip too often. The bottle is a reliable thickness of glass, I’ve dropped mine a few times and they haven’t broken (yet).
The quick-drying feature is very handy, although I do consider this as a trade-off on the longevity of the colour. After 5 days, my nail colour is usually embarrassingly chipped, hence I have started using these colours in conjunction with the Essence Gel-look top coat, a product that I swear by that can lengthen the lifespan of my flawless nail colour to a full two weeks.
I would recommend this product on the condition that you use it with a topcoat.

In love with this product! Usually when a nail polish states that it is quick drying, it still takes a bit long. This,however, is the deal deal. It literally dries in about a minute. The colours stand out and the two coats that I had on my nails lasted for more than a week. It is so affordable that one can afford to buy a few of these awesome colours
