I have not had any experience with Essence up until a couple of weeks ago and I must say… this is the best low cost range of cosmetics I’ve encountered. It’s a must if you don’t have limited funds to look brill!!

I think of Essence nail polish as a one night stand ;) Its great, colour and shades are lovely but It only lasts a night. I use it when I am in a hurry and need a bit of colour on a night out. It dries quick and you can do it in the car. But by tomorrow it will probably be chipped so best to take it off before going to work.

Thanks guys, I was actually going to purchase this yesterday but thought i would buy it another day, and to my surprise I see reviews on it. Luckily i did not get it thumbs up. although i do know that essence has alot of other great polishes.

Great colour selection, but it doesn’t last, and the final look is amateur-ish. The brush makes applying it clumsy. Affordable, but rather keep it to the toes, so people can’t look up close.

I love these polishes because they are so affordable, only about R20, and they apply nicely, no streaks. They come in really nice colours too. They do tend to chip quite easily though so I put the Essence gel topcoat on top and it lasts much longer. Or they are ideal for if you want to change your colour very frequently
