While I love Essence for it’s affordability and wide range of products, I am a bit disappointed with this nail polish. Maybe it’s just me being too rough on my nails, but this polish only lasts me a day before it starts chipping or peeling off. The colour & go range has a wide selection of beautiful colours and I use it mostly for a night out or when I’m in a hurry because of the fast drying time, but the next day I have to remove the polish. I tried using this polish with a gel top coat and then it lasted me a bit longer.

One of my favourite nail polishes is from Essence. They come in a variety of colours and are very affordable, so you can walk out of the store with a number of them.
The nail polish brush is quite thick and so, in one stroke you will have nail polish on the whole nail. You will need about two more coats before you get a lovely solid colour.
The Colour & Go range stays true to its name. within a minute, the nail polish is amazingly completely dry.
The major downside, however, is that it starts chipping within a few hours. you are likely to only have it on for a day before you need to remove it because of chipping.
Personally, I think the Colour & Go range is good for quick/emergency nail colour application before a night out, because it dries so quickly. However, it is not suitable for someone who does not have time to always be re-painting their nails.

I love Essence products and the nail polish do not disappoint for several reasons:
1) The price (who can beat R19.90?)
2) The variety of colours – gorgeous! Love the silver!
3) It dries quickly!
4) It stays on just as long as more expensive nail colours before it starts to chip.
5) I love the colour coded tops (same colour as nail polish).
FINAL VERDICT: Essence has proved once and for all that one do not have to spend a fortune on beauty products. The price enables us to experiment with different colours which is awesome! Love Essence!~

I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again – Essence is the best! The products are high-quality and so affordable! The Colour and Go Quick Drying Nail Polish range offers a number of exciting shades, and because they’re so reasonably-priced, you can afford to try all the new colours and trends – without the added guilt! These nail polishes are such good quality, and do not chip if applied correctly.

This is an excellent product for the price. Good quality although it does chip after a while but it dries fairly quick and applies so smoothly! I also love their range of colours, definitely worth it!

A bonus is that they are so affordable so you can really buy quite a few bottles on a smaller budget and then go wild with designs on your nails.
