I wear mascara every single day of my life, but never steer away from trusty shades of black. Willing to try something new, I opted for shade #031 Plum (suited to brown eyes). On the brush the mascara is noticeably plum in colour, but once applied to my naturally black lashes, it looked more like a deep purple. The colour is extremely subtle but I noticed that my eyes had an overall softer look to them (black is sometimes quite harsh next to my pale skin).
What I loved most, however, is how full it made my lashes look. The volume-building formulation definitely lives up to its promises. I can’t wait to try more shades from this range!

I have got to get my hands on one of these need somthing to make my eyes pop and need a mascara that will give my eyelashes a fuller look, i have soo many mascara’s because of what the label say’s but it never doe that. So im goin to try this one. thanks for the review.
Im not really a fan of volumising mascaras, i feel it sometimes looks clumpy. I prefer lenghthening mascaras.

Purple plays up my blue eyes nicely, and Almay is hypo-allergenic, so no irritation to my sensitive skin or eyes. Happiness (:
