There is nothing worse than spending a long time doing your make-up for a night out or a special occasion, only to have it wear off over time. With the help of a good primer and MAC Fix+ I know that my make-up will last a whole day which is especially helpful for daytime events.
The Fix+ comes in a spray bottle with an extra fine nozzle that dispenses a fine mist of Fix+. Because the mist is so fine, I don’t have to worry about it interfering with any powder products that I have applied.
It dries instantly and doesn’t irritate my eyes, which was a concern I had when I first purchased it. The bottle carries a fair amount of liquid and considering you only use one / two sprays every time you use it, it is guaranteed to last a fairly long time.
While I haven’t tried make-up fix sprays from any other brands so I don’t have anything to compare this to, I have been thoroughly impressed with this product and would highly recommend it.

I’ve used this product for the past 5 years! It was one of the first setting sprays I used since I was in varsity, and it really does do the job! Keeps your foundation intact for a very long period and can hold up in hot temperatures. I feel two proper sprays are enough but days when I needed extra longevity I sprayed it a couple more times.
I use this every single time I apply make up. It keeps your makeup intact for hours. It is worth every single cent.
I initially bought MAC fix + in the Lavender scent. I absolutely loved it! But it was LE, so when it ran out, i had to get the normal one. While both work perfectly well at finishing a look, as well as keeping my makeup in place for atleast 6 hours.
I also use the MAC Fix + to wet my eyshadow brushes before applying pigments or loose eyeshadows.
My only gripe is that the original one smells so chemical-ish. Regardless, i will continue repurchasing this product as it definitely works and is amazing.
Despite having oily skin, I purchased this because a foundation I was using was too drying and looked cakey. Fix+ helped add dewiness and made the foundation look so much better. I love the scent and how refreshing it feels on the skin, can’t say it prolonged the wear of my makeup but that isn’t why I bought it.
I’ve been using this for the last 6 months. I used to suffer with dry skin especially in winter, the water felt so harsh on my face. I would apply foundation and in no time it was flaking. A spray of the MAC Fix and you are sorted, I didn’t suffer with the embarassing flaky skin and if I wanted to just freshen up my make up I’d give a spray and all was good again
I have been using the Fix+ for almost a year now and I have never looked back. My make-up stays put the whole day. I apply my make-up in the morning when I go to work and for the 8hours I am in the office I don’t do make-up touch ups. I highly recommend it
This product hydrates your skin when you apply it before adding your makeup, it completely sets your makeup once you spray it after makeup application. And that not all! Want your eyeshadows or highlight powder to be more pigmented? just spritz some of the fix+ onto your brush and voila! This stuff is pure magic!!
This product needs to be in every makeup artists kit! As a makeup artist myself it comes in very handy when you have a few clients on a wedding day and need to start off hours before the event, I usually apply the makeup and spray the mist over the makeup. It has a really fresh scent to it and is usually very friendly to all skin types, it helps to lock in the makeup so that it may last till and even after the event. I love how I can also use it to apply pigments to the eye.
I love this product! When I know it’s going to be a long day, I spray it onto my face before applying my foundation as well as afterwards and it really does help to extend your makeup look. I also love using it on my eye shadow brushes when I am using the “wet” option of one of my wet or dry eye shadows. I love that you can swivel the top to stop it from spraying all over your makeup bag when travelling too…that is very helpful :)
I really like the Fix+, especially when using powder products, as it makes it look very fresh and not powdery. It is also great to wet brushes with and it feels wonderful on a clean, fresh face. I don’t really see that it prolongs the wear, but that is not what it is meant to do. The bottle and packaging is great, I love that the cap can turn to close so that it doesn’t leak everywhere.
