When I first saw the advertisements for this product I was skeptical. After all, how can a lotion absorb into the skin while it is wet, and then hydrate it enough to not need an extra moisturiser on top of it? It seemed too good to be true, which is usually my call to action to put it to the test. I began using it a day later, and boy, was I wrong.
The first clue I picked up on was that the lotion itself felt luxuriously soft and velvety. You can usually tell if a product is going to feel beautiful on your skin by the texture of the formulation, and if this theory is anything to go by, I was right to assume that my skin would love it! I followed the instructions and applied the lotion to my wet skin after cleansing. After about 20 or 30 seconds I rinsed it off and began towelling my skin as I stepped out of the shower. To my complete amazement, my skin felt as if I had just applied a moisturiser – velvety and hydrated! I thought it might not last, but I am happy to admit that by the afternoon my skin was still soft and smooth, and in no need of extra moisturising.
Every time I use it, the results are the same. It has completely changed the way I go about moisturising my body as it saves me time and I never have to worry about the product staining my clothes. Plus, I couldn’t believe how affordable it is. I won’t stop using this product any time soon!

This is a great idea. It’s great for people like me who are lazy to put lotion on your body after you get out of the shower (especially when it’s cold out). So it definitely made a change to my skin condition because I would usually skip moisturising. It’s easy to use, but something to get used to. My skin felt soft and moisturised afterwards, but if you have really dry skin, that is used to using body butters, you will need a little bit of extra moisturisation after the shower as well. Pity you can’t use it in the bath :(
I have struggled with a dry skin my whole life and have tried many products in the past – even Dove with a 1/4 moisturiser body soaps and moisturisers – but none worked. One of my friends told me about this product and I decided to get myself a bottle. So I first just bought one small bottle as I was very skeptical about this, as all of the previous products promise you it works. The bottle and all the wording told you exactly what to do and how to use this product. I have tried it and it works. My skin normally looked good with the other products for about an hour after applying it to my skin, and then just went dry again. With Nivea in shower rich body lotion my skin feels soft it looks soft and it looks moisturised. The dry crack lines on my skin have disappeared in 2 weeks time! I have just bought another bottle and will continue to use this as long as I can get my hands on it!

I love this!! Especially in Winter! It does moisturise, but really can’t be compared to a nice body lotion or moisturiser like Ingrams for Winter. In Summer, it saves me the extra 5 minutes, so that’s a winner!!!
This product is okay. I would honestly rather use a moisturizer when I get out of the shower. It smells good and does make skin soft, but I feel like I get better moisture from out-of-shower body lotions.
Using a conditioner for your body in the shower … why didn’t someone think of this sooner.
My skin really welcomed this product with winter weather really drying out my skin. I’m not really one to fuss too much over body products. I find it easy to use in the shower as part of my cleansing ritual.
I like the texture. It is the same as a conditioner for hair and absolutely love the way my skin feels afterwards, soft and moisturised.
I really appreciated that it is not subtly fragranced, but I would welcome a range in future with a more citrus/fresh fragrance.
What a wonderful idea Nivea thought of. I bought this product when it first came out. It was extremely affordable and it really really works. Skin feels like silk after using it. You don’t even have to apply lotion or creams. I use it mostly at night or on a lazy morning when I dont’ feel like applying oil before I go to work. I highly recommended it! Excellent for those who don’t like to use lotion, like me.

I CANNOT even begin to tell you how GREAT this product is. I’m not a fan of lotions so what I would do is just to add some body oil to my skin as soon as I step out of the shower and then towel dry my skin. Works fantastic. But……..this product is just to dye for. The smell is heavenly. Love it!!!!
Not entirely a fan. I wouldn’t buy it again and rather use baby oil on wet skin or normal body lotion. Skin feels soft but doesn’t look moisturised. It doesn’t deeply moisturise skin so not good for someone with really dry skin.
