Essence has brought out a six-piece starter kit that includes everything you need to be able to do it at home, by the pool or at your friend’s house. They will not damage your nails and can easily be removed at any time.

I bought these two lovely gel nail polish from essence after I had visited a Clicks store. I love the thickness of the nail polish & the bristle itself allows me to paint my nails without any spills. I also loved that the lid is easily hold-able! I used color code DDAD (the glitter one) on two finger nails on each hand & used color code CHADB on three finger nails on each hand to create that nude yet shinny look at the same time.
The process went well without any dripping since the nail polish itself is gel-like it. I didn’t like that it dried up very quickly. It costed less than R35.00 for each nail polish.

These were a bit of a disappointment. I expected my nails to last much longer than just over a day. Plus my nails felt so unnatural and looked and felt so bumpy and uneven. I really wasn’t pleased with this. Especially because it was around the price of a gel manicure but left me feeling so disappointed.

II love the idea, and it’s adorable. However, I’m not crazy about Essence nail polish. It doesn’t apply smoothly. The kit seems a bit complicated as well, but I suppose with practise, it should look okay-ish. The price is reasonable enough to buy and try.
