As far as everyday lipstick goes, this is a good one. The colour range is gorgeous and it glides onto the lips smoothly. I have the colour Cherry Jubilee in the satin finish which is glossy and moisturising. The only problems are that it transfers easily and doesn’t last very long, so you’ll need to touch it up. being more of a lipgloss girl it is very rare for one to find me using lipstick. so when i received the monthly Avon brochure i was skeptical to try out their very affordable-might i add- ultra colour rich lipsticks.i like my pinkish/redish colours depending on my mood of course!

-country rose
-sangaria
-buttered rum
firstly the product claims to be rich in colour -from the name alone! i was deeply impressed at how rich and vibrant the colours lasted. it is so rich in colour that it only needs to be applied once inorder to achieve the colour intensity. the only downside to this product is that its not very long lasting. obviously after you eat or drink anything you would need to touch up your lipstick because of the product transfer.
a quick tip if you want to get your ultimate usage out of your lipstick just top it up using a lipgloss in the same shade or clear to get your ultimate out of your lipstick!
the ultra colour rich lipstick retail for about R64,95 which can be hefty for some so if you uncertain on what shade to get you can ask an avon representative near you to provide you with a tiny little sample which sells for R4 each.

My friend recently bought me a thank you gift and when I opened it, it was the Avon Foot Works Pineapple Sorbet Trio. At first I was like “OK, another lot of things I will never be using” BUT I was sadly mistaken. I opened it to smell what Pineapple Sorbet would smell like and I knew I had to at least give it a try before I just chucked them in the back of my bathroom cupboard. To my surprise, they were pretty amazing. The perfect extremely affordable gift for any lady be it your mother or bestie. In the trio you get the following: Pineapple Sorbet Foot Scrub, Pineapple Sorbet Cooling Lotion and Pineapple Sorbet Foot Spray. Besides for the amazing tangy smell, the scrub made my feet soft, the cooling lotion is non-sticky after application and the cooling spray left my feet feeling refreshed and cool. I give this trio a easy 4 out of 5 and I really think at R99 for all 3 it was a very nice gift and definitely something really great for summer that wont break the bank.

Love this lipstick! It does not last as long as the other brands, but it is still worth the buy. The color pops just right off your lips. I got mine in Oxford wine and it is this pretty purple-pink color. The product packaging is a classical lipstick tube in black that you can pop into your handbag. I got this lipstick on promotion, so overall the price was suitable for me.

I’ve recently purchased an Ultra Colour Rich lipstick SPF 15 from Avon in Oxford Wine and was pleasantly surprised! You know how we usually think that if something is cheap (I’ve paid R70 for the lipstick), there has to be something wrong with it? This was definitely not the case! This unique formula’s comforting gel base provides a creamy lightweight texture, the hydra complex wraps lips in a veil of moisture, leaving them hydrated and velvety soft, and the true colour technology amplifies colour for a vibrant, intense look. I’ve been wearing it almost every day and receive compliments every single time, I think I’m addicted. I’d definitely recommend this to everyone that’s strapped for cash but still wants their lips to look like a million bucks.

I tried the Oxford Wine colour as it complimented my skin tone, but it is more of a rich plum color. It moisturizes the lips and lasts for about 3 hours. I have tried many lipsticks before, including other Avon lip colors, but this one had a nice, smooth lasting texture.
The packaging is classy without being too blingy (my friends will not try to still it). I use it mainly for evening outings to give that pop of color.
I’m so in love with it that I have put away the other lipsticks for now. I would definitely recommend it to my friends :)

The lipsticks I tested were Blush & Siren.
It is a creamy formula, which is quite nourishing and does not dry on your lips. They were extremely colour rich & highly pigmented. A bonus was that it lasted longer than I expected for a “non-colourstay” product. The Blush was basically my natural lip colour and was perfect for that nude look for work, but it was a bit light for my liking
The Siren was as the name implies, but much sexier. It’s an intense red, a bit lighter than a burgundy, but not a bright red colour. It created a sexy vampish look and will change any look from DRAB to FAB!!
All in all I was pleasantly surprised with these products. I am no stranger to Avon and would happily buy most of their products
