I can always repurchase this lovely product! I got mine in the colour berry smooch and fell in love with it ever since I laid my eyes on them! The colour is like a mixture of purple and pink thus not too light or too dark. Overall I would highly recommend purchasing this.

I have always been afraid to try lipstick, but when I got to try a R5 sample of this Avon Ultra Colour Rich Lipstick in Scarlet Siren, I was instantly hooked.
The lipstick looks very rich and has a slight gloss to it. This makes it instantly moisturising to give you beautiful red lips. You do not need to apply a lot of the lipstick in order to get a deep red colour.
Unfortunately, this lipstick promises colour that lasts for hours, but after a couple of hours, my lipstick had faded and I had to apply more.
If you are looking for a moisturising lipstick, then give this a try, however, be prepared to make touch-ups through out the day.

Avon’s lipsticks come in a variety of shades and glide on smoothly which I love. The moisturising effect is amazing and I love the fact that it has SPF15. We all need to protect our face and skin in the harsh African sun. The price is another wow as one really gets a lot for the price.
The only con for me is that I really prefer a long-lasting lipstick and I have yet to find an Avon lipstick that lasts longer than an hour or my first glass of water or cup of tea, after application.
Overall a must try though!

Avon keeps on surprising me and I’m sure for many other women as well. Their product ranges are amazing as they cater for everyone out their. I am loving their new Ultra Colour lipstick range and the one I have is Beyond Pink. Since pink is the colour this season this colour is rich and looks vibrant. Since this is not a new product they have only improved this lipstick by having richer and more vibrant colours for women of all skin tones. With ingredients such as arctic berry and omega oils and Vitamin E how could I complain as the lipstick immediately moistured my lips and the colour lasted longer than some other lipsticks.If pink is not your colour there is more subtle colours to choose from. Simply amazing.

I’m not a lipstick girl. At all. Sure I love the odd intense red lip or shocking Fuschia to add a pop of colour for a night out on the town, something only a good quality lipstick can provide. I tend to stick to tinted and sheer lip glosses and have have never purchased a lipliner in my life. So you are probably wondering why I do not like lipstick:
* My lips are left dry after lipstick has worn off (even the really moisturising ones)
* I find it a pain to apply straight from the tube (A lip brush is often needed for precise application)
* It comes off way to quickly meaning I constantly need to reapply and if I don’t, my lips will look washed out
* Long wear lipsticks often feels tight on my lips, cracks and is a nightmare to remove while leaving the top layer of my skin in tact.
So now that you know why I don’t like lipstick, here are my findings on Avon Color Rich Lipstick (This is me being open minded, honest and fair)…
I love the packaging The casing is a sleek black, elongated square tube with a clear Perspex cover on top which allows one to peek at the color – I think is huge plus as it gives you the opportunity to see the actual color before purchasing. This is completed with a classic silver trim upon which the iconic AVON logo is embossed. One opened and wound up, there is an AVON logo embossed on the lipstick which I think is really cute and a really great personal touch from AVON. Over all, 5/5 for the visually appealing packaging.
I wanted to experience the full effect of this lipstick, so in order to do that I needed to prep my lips. I exfoliated and primed to ensure a smooth base, I then proceeded to apply the lipstick in ‘Chic’ (straight from the tube without the help of a lip brush) and then finished off with my Glimmerstick Lip Liner in Mauve which complemented the color Chic beautifully! I then corrected any smudges or uneven lines.
I would like to start off with the formula. I think its absolutely awesome! I think this is by far the most creamy textured lipstick I have ever used (I may not like lipstick, but I have tried quite a few in my quest to find a good one)! Its an absolute joy to apply as the stick feels soft against my lips and the color just glides on with out fuss. The formula is really high pigmented so I see the color coming through from the first application. I applied 2 coats to achieve that intense rosy pink color as it really suited my complexion well!
The Lipstick has a really nice subtle aroma (very slight and nothing over whelming), I can’t quite place my finger on what it resembles, but non the less, a very pleasing smell. My lips looked nice and dewy which I really like.
I had a total wear of about 1hr30mins with either lipstick. In this time, I found that the lipstick moisturised my lips very well, even after the color faded, my lips were left soft and supple. The lipstick is very light weight, so It really was pleasure to wear and my lips felt hydrated, so I wasn’t even conscious that I had lipstick on, my lips felt as if they were able to ‘breathe’. The lipstick it self comes off way to quickly and transfers easily onto anything and everything that may touch your lips (accidentally or intended) – I found this hugely annoying. I had a packet of jelly babies and by the end of that, all that was left of my beautiful lip color was the lip liner out line. This told me a) I would constantly need to reapply this lipstick if I intended to wear the shade for long periods of time, b) The formula does not stain my lips c) The lip liner itself is durable and long lasting without drying out the lips.
So My very last and final thoughts??? Would I start to wear lipstick on a more regular basis? Definitely not. I think that this new Lipstick from AVON is definitely of a really good quality with high moisturising/pigment factors that allows lips to breathe, it just doesn’t stay on long enough to really leave me with a lasting impression. I love to kiss my husband/baby, but would think twice about doing so when wearing this lipstick. So I guess it would be purely for show, but not really functionality

This lipstick has True Colour Technology which means the rich colour that you see on the lipstick is the same colour that you see on your lips. The lipstick brings bold, mesmerizing, moisturising and a luscious look to lips. The lipstick is extra long lasting. The lipstick is also very moisturising and conditions lips, with its new lip nourishing formula which contains omega-3 oil and Vitamin E, plus it has an innovative self renewing pigment, so the colour stays true for hours and every time you look in the mirror, you’ll feel as if you just applied your lipstick.
The texture of the lipstick is smooth and creamy, the lipstick blends into lips effortlessly and feels like the lipstick is melting into your lips, because the lipstick is so nourishing, lips never look or feel dry, plus the lipstick works as a moisturiser which makes lips softer and gives lips a supple feel. The lipstick also gives lips a lovely light shine, and doesn’t bleed into lip lines, and an added bonus for all the lovely ladies who love to protect their lips, the Ultra Colour Rich Lipstick is SPF 15 so lips are protected as well! The part I love about the lipstick, is that when you twist out the lipstick, the front of the actual lipstick has the word “AVON” printed on the lipstick.
The lipstick comes in a gorgeous packaging which is sleek and perfect to take when you’re going out at night. The lipstick outer casing is glossy black, with a smooth feel and silky touch. The bottom of the barrel has a shimmering and eye catching silver embellishment which wraps around the casing and has the word “AVON” engraved on it. The rest of the barrel is also shimmering silver, which I thought was impressive because it gives the lipstick an extra expensive and luxurious look to it. The casing is square and the lid has a clear top so you can see the lipstick inside. The barrel also has small “click” lock, so once you hear the cap click down and you hear a “clicking” sound, you know the lid is secure and there will be no open lipstick, messing your make up bag. The bottom of the barrel has a small sticker which is colour coded according to the shade of the lipstick and states the colour of the lipstick. The lipstick is a twist barrel.
Now about my two amazing Ultra Colour Rich Lipsticks, first up is Sangria, this shade is new to the Ultra Colour Rich Lipsticks and is my favourite shade, it is more of an intense shade, which is vibrant, sensational, vivid and luminous. The shade is a deep fuchsia colour, which is a dark but vibrant pink/plum tone. This is quite a dark shade of lipstick, but it suits fair to medium skin tones brilliantly. The shade is more of an Autumn shade, but can be worn anytime. The shade is perfect to be worn as a day time or night time lipstick.
While on the other hand my second Ultra Colour Rich Lipstick Chic is a much lighter shade, Chic is more of a peach bronze colour, which I like because it suits my skin tone perfectly. I find Chic to be more of a Spring colour because the tone is more pastel like, with a slight deep bronze in it. Both lipsticks have a shimmer look to them, which I absolutely adore, because I don’t like plain lipstick, it must have a sparkle to it! The lipsticks deliver smooth and moisturising colour with a rich and luxurious feel. The lipstick can be used by itself or can be used over a lipliner similar to the shade of the lipstick and the lipstick can be used under a lipgloss for a sleek, glossy look. The lipsticks are very long lasting, and last on lips for about four or five hours, however if you use the lipstick under gloss, the lipstick will fade much more easily. Once the lipstick is applied on lips, it gives lips a “just applied” look everytime, even after eating or drinking, plus once the lipstick has started to fade, no one will ever know before you touch up because the lipstick has a slight lip stain on lips.

This is a great product from Avon! It is well priced and the lipstick is nice and creamy. It does tend to fade quite quickly though, and does need retouching but it has really pretty colours and it is one of my staple products.
