The surprising reason you could have bacne

Help! I always get pimples on my back. How can I stop this from happening?

Bacne

Back acne could be caused by an imbalance of bacteria in your gut

“If you have acne on your back, you need to do more than simply deal with what you see on your skin, you need to treat the cause, and this requires investigating the gut. Most cases of microbial imbalance (dysbiosis) inside the body manifest as acne.” Says Skin Care Expert, Dr Maureen Allem. Go ahead and ask her a question!

Think you might have this problem?

Some of the other symptoms of microbial imbalance include abdominal pain, recurrent vaginal infections, skin rashes, diarrhoea, and recurrent bladder infections.

Fix it

Visit a doctor and get yourself checked out if you think you have this condition. It can usually be corrected by adjusting your diet, like lowering animal proteins and including more green, leafy goodness.
