We review Jimmy Choo I Want Choo Eau de Parfum

I Want Choo, the new fragrance by Jimmy Choo, captures the essence of the fun-filled evenings shared with your girlfriends before a night out on the town. We all know that the pre-party is the highlight of the evening, and that those hours spent sipping on champagne, doing hair and makeup, and finding the perfect outfits together, is where the real party is at.

I Want Choo is an oriental-floral fragrance that’s joyful and playful, with a seductive twist. It epitomizes the confidence and glamour of the Jimmy Choo woman.

The starting point of the scent was red spider lily, a unique flower with vibrant, spider-like red petals, at the heart of this fragrance. This, along with sparkling mandarin and peach top notes, and creamy vanilla and benzoin base notes, results in a unique feminine scent, crafted to perfection.

What we think:
I’ve become accustomed to a lot in the past year: working from home, spending weekends at home, cancelling events and putting travel plans on hold. Almost all of it has been bearable, but the one thing I have missed more than anything else during this pandemic, is the nights spent with friends. There is something magical about an evening with girlfriends; getting dressed together, doing hair and makeup together and having a glass of bubbly before a night out. These moments are truly irreplaceable.

I Want Choo, the new scent by Jimmy Choo, takes me back to those nights. When I spritz it on, I can hear the music playing while the girls and I style each other’s hair, I can picture the outfits and almost feel the excitement and anticipation of an evening out on the town.

I’ve always enjoyed Jimmy Choo fragrances, but this latest release is by far my favourite. It’s fruity and sparkling upon the first few spritzes, but becomes richer and warmer when red spider lily, the fragrance note right at the heart of this scent, and the creamy vanilla and benzoin notes at the base, come to the fore. I love that the scent if playful and flirty, but that it offers a good dose of allure.

And while I dream of one day owning a pair of Jimmy Choo heels, I take comfort in the absolute beauty of the I Want Choo bottle on my dressing table. A true object of desire, the peachy liquid is housed in a gorgeously feminine glass bottle, adorned with the Jimmy Choo monogram.

I might not be headed back to a nightclub any time soon, but I Want Choo is fulfilling my dreams of a girls’ night out, right at home.
